Abstract

L'invenzione riguarda un procedimento per il miglioramento delle caratteristiche chimico-fisiche e tecnologiche di oli combustibili in particolare di oli da pirolisi di biomasse secondo il quale gli oli derivati dalla pirolisi, in fase liquida o vapore vengono irradiati con elettroni di energie comprese tra 0.055 e 1 MeV. Preferibilmente gli elettroni necessari per l'irraggiamento vengono generati con un acceleratore elettrostatico di elettroni. Una sostanza ausiliaria fornitrice di idrogeno, quale il metano, eventualmente pre-irradiata, può essere iniettata nel flusso liquido o vapore di detti oli. L'invenzione riguarda anche un impianto perfezionato per la pirolisi di biomasse incorporante detta fase di irraggiamento con elettroni.(FIG.1).
