Abstract

Il mattone laterizio forato è volto ad evitare, o a ridurre, le deformazioni nella fabbricazione che producono fessurazioni nell'essiccazione e nella cottura; il mattone presenta due fasce laterali a labirinto con setti (2) prevalentemente verticali rispetto alla base di trafilatura (B), per aumentare la resistenza allo schiacciamento: la fascia centrale essendo invece dotata di labirinto con setti (4) prevalentemente longitudinali per ostacolare la trasmissione del calore tra gli ambienti separati dal muro in mattoni; viene impiegato nelle costruzioni edili.
