Abstract

Un motore fuoribordo comprendente un gruppo propulsore atto a venire montato su una imbarcazione per un movimento di rotazione rispetto ad essa attorno ad un asse di governo generalmente verticale, il gruppo propulsore includendo una carcassa di albero di trasmissione avente una uscita di scarico atta a scaricare i gas di scarico sott'acqua, un albero dell'elica supportato girevolmente dalla carcassa dell'albero di trasmissione, una testa motrice montata sulla carcassa dell'albero di trasmissione e collegata in maniera conduttrice all'albero dell'elica, ed un passaggio di scarico comunicante tra la testa motrice e l'uscita di scarico, il passaggio di scarico includendo una porzione a monte, una porzione a valle ed una porzione che collega le porzioni a monte e a valle e che è definita in parte da una parete inferiore, ed un catalizzatore disposto nella porzione a monte e al di sotto della parete inferiore.
