Abstract

La presente invenzione concerne gli esteri inter e/o intramolecolari del polisaccaride acido (poliurenano), gellano contenente funzioni carbossiliche, in cui una parte o la totalità di tali funzioni è esterificata con gli ossidrili della stessa molecola e/o di molecole differenti del polisaccaride stesso, formando così dei legami lattonici o esterei intra/intermolecolari.L'invenzione riguarda anche l'uso dei nuovi esteri interni del gellano nel settore dei materiali plastici biodegradabili, per l'allestimento di articoli sanitari e chirurgici, nel settore cosmetico e farmaceutico, in quello alimentare ed in molti altri.-
