Abstract

Vengono descritti un procedimento ed una disposizione per l'essiccamento di tabacco in forma fibrosa o di foglia, oppure di un materiale analogo, laddove l'energia di essiccamento impiegata complessivamente deve essere mantenuta piccola.Questo compito viene risolto per il fatto che l'essiccamento viene effettuato con impiego di vapore ad alta temperatura e di gas ad alta temperatura, preferibilmente aria ad alta temperatura, laddove ogni fluido di essiccamento determina un essiccamento parziale del tabacco. Il vapore molto caldo, arricchito con umidità, viene, per una parte, nuovamente sovrariscaldato ed impiegato per l'essiccamento, per un'altra parte esso serve al riscaldamento di aria ad alta temperatura, dalla quale il tabacco viene ulteriormente essiccato.Il vantaggio realizzato dall'invenzione consiste in una
