Prodotto alimentare congelato o surgelato, costituito da un ingrediente di base non pastoso in forma di pezzi unitari e da almeno un ingrediente addizionale, in cui l'ingrediente addizionale risulta sostanzialmente fissato sulla superficie dell'ingrediente di base e che il prodotto finale risulta in forma di pezzi unitari.Esempio tipico è la pasta alimentare condita con sugo.Principale vantaggio è la riduzione del tempo di preparazione del prodotto al momento del consumo.
