Abstract
A fire-resistant or fire-stop door of the type comprising two surface metal sheets and internal lagging panels in which at least one layer of adhesive and lagging material capable of rendering the structure monolithic and of effectively preventing the transmission of heat at high temperature for a relatively long time is placed between the superimposed parts comprising the structure. The door comprises two surface metal sheets and at least two internal lagged panels laid on top of each other between the surface sheets; between these superimposed internal lagged panels there is located at least one sheet of bright aluminium which is thermally protected by the lagged panels. The adhesive and lagging material is spread on all or part of the interfaces between the various superimposed materials. Projections which engage the fixed frame and/or a central upright in the case of two-leafed doors are preferably provided. <IMAGE>
