Abstract

According to the invention the primary suspension 11 comprises four tilting arms 12 supporting axle boxes which are hinged at one end with respect to the corresponding end of a longitudinal member L of frame T, each of which bears a corresponding axle box B for railway axles and is hinged at the other end with respect to an end of a rubber spring 13 which is secured at its other end to corresponding longitudinal member L. The secondary suspension 15 comprises an oscillating arm 16 for each longitudinal member L of frame T bearing a hanger which is hinged to the corresponding longitudinal member L and which in a terminal zone 16.2 away from frame T supports one end of a hanger P which is orientatably secured by means of a hemispherical joint. The said hanger projects downwards and at the other end is connected to box C through another hemispherical joint. At its other end 16.3 the said hanger-supporting arm 16 is hinged to one end of a pair of helical torsion springs 16.7 whose other ends are attached to the transverse members TR of frame T of the carriage. <IMAGE>
