Abstract

Il chiodo edomidollare bloccato dinamizzante è un mezzo di sintesi per le fratture diafisarie del femore e della tibia.Esso è costituito da due parti in TITANIO e da una molla ricoperta con materiale biodegradabile (CHETWUD, VAICRIL o altri); la scelta del materiale riassorbibile viene fatta dipendentemente dal tipo di frattura e dal segmento osseo interessato.La caratteristica principale di questo mezzo di sintesi é rappresentata dal fatto che nel momento del suo impianto garantisce una sintesi rigida, mentre, successivamente il riassorbimento del materiale biodegradabile offre una sintesi dinamica dovuta al grado di libertà acquisito dal chiodo.
