Abstract
Viene descritta una combinazione erogatrice di mercurio costituita da un composto intermetallico A dispensatore di Hg, comprendente mercurio ed un secondo metallo scelto tra titanio, zirconio e loro miscele; una lega o un composto intermetallico B promotore, comprendenti rame, silicio, ed eventualmente un terzo metallo scelto tra i metalli di transizione. Viene descritto anche un dispositivo erogatore di mercurio che contiene tale combinazione di materiali A e B, eventualmente con un materiale getter C scelto tra Ti, Zr, Ta, Nb, V e loro miscele, o leghe di questi metalli con Ni, Fe o Al, preferibilmente sotto forma di polveri compresse in pastiglia, oppure contenute in un supporto metallico ad anello, oppure laminate su superfici di un nastro metallico. Viene inoltre descritto un procedimento per l'introduzione di mercurio, nei tubi elettronici in cui è richiesto, facendo uso dei suddetti dispositivi erogatori di mercurio.
