Viene descritto un elemento di rinforzo del tallone per calzature sportive, detto anche "contrafforte", ottenuto per stampaggio in gomma in unico pezzo con un elemento sporgente posteriore atto a fungere da speroncino. Le calzature munite di tale rinforzo potranno quindi essere usate anche per equitazione, senza richiedere gli usuali speroni metallici da assemblare e d'altra parte senza che tale sporgenza con funzioni di sperone possa ingombrare in qualche modo durante la semplice camminata o qualsiasi altra attività sportiva svolta indossando tali calzature.
