Il presente trovato si riferisce ad una struttura di supporto per limitare la flessibilità di reti e materassi che comprende una coppia di correnti sostanzialmente paralleli e distanziati tra loro da elementi lastriformi, che sono elasticamente flessibili, interposti tra la coppia di correnti. La struttura di supporto comprende anche tiranti che sono associabili trasversalmente, con le loro estremità longitudinali, ai correnti e che sono tensionabili in modo tale da ridurre la distanza tra i correnti e provocare la flessione degli elementi lastriformi. La struttura di supporto può essere disposta tra una rete ed un materasso con i correnti orientati parallelamente allo sviluppo longitudinale del letto e con gli elementi lastriformi inflessi verso l'alto per limitare l'inflessione della rete e del materasso durante l'uso.
