Description of the invention entitled: "ANTI-FLOODING KIT",

H Anti-flooding Kit, from malfunctions from water systems, consists of two fundamental parts and some accessories. The purpose of the invention is to automatically solve the problems that can be caused by water dysfunctions, such as broken pipes, overflow from tubs, sinks, etc .; breakdowns from washing machines, dishwashers, etc.

This kit has its effectiveness as it immediately stops the flow of water from the network, be it external or from internal reserve.

One of the components, that is the detector-transmitter, is installed near the place where it is assumed that a fault may occur: bathroom, kitchen, sink, etc.

H detector via a bilamellar probe, connected via an electrical conductor

of variable length from zero to 30 meters, detects the presence of water on the floor (one millimeter is enough), and instantly transmits a signal (pulse) to the receiver which in turn instantly closes a solenoid valve connected to the receiver via an electrical conductor of variable length, from zero to 50 meters.

The aforementioned solenoid valve is installed at the entrance to the water system of the building to be protected, or near the meter. The solenoid valve, which is of the normally open type, works with 12 volts DC and does not require an electrical connection because it is powered only in closing via the conductor coming from the receiver.

The solenoid valve remains closed until the user resets it manually via a reset button located on the receiver.

The latter is enclosed in a small container that can be installed either externally or embedded in a normal junction box used in electrical systems. On the receiver you will find:

1 small antenna;

1 reset button;

1 bright leed;

1 power input 12 volt de;

1 12 vol de power output for any telephone dialer;

1 signal input from the transmitter detector (wired type);

The detector-transmitter, also small in size and enclosed in a small container that can be installed on sight, or recessed in a normal junction box used in electrical systems, can also be installed in a bathroom or kitchen cabinet. , etc.

On the detector-transmitter there are:

A very important option is a telephone dialer (found on the market) which, connected by wire to the receiver, transmits a pre-recorded message to the numbers pre-selected by the user at the same time as

the probe detects the presence of water on the floor.

The transmission of the signal that the detector-transmitter sends to the receiver can take place via wire or via radio depending on whether the "type A kit" or the "type B kit" is used. The latter contains a transmitter (small card) that can transmit at a variable distance between transmitter and receiver from a minimum of ten meters to a maximum of one hundred meters, while the technical characteristics of the card are those established by current regulations.

A receiver card is mounted on the receiver, the same one with which the telephone dialer is equipped to be combined with the "type B" kit.

In this way also the telephone dialer can be installed anywhere without being connected with wires to the other units, requiring only a telephone socket and a power socket. The combiner is thus also powered as the detector-transmitter and as the receiver by a common power supply transformer with 12 volt d output.

To be protected by the "Anti-flooding Kit" even in the absence of mains power, self-powered power supplies can be used.
