Abstract

Un catetere dilatatore è inserito in un introduttore amovibile per essere entrambi inseriti in una cavità di un paziente per predisporre un'apertura al successivo inserimento di un catetere. Detto introduttore porta una sede per contenere una valvola di non ritorno nella quale vi è inserito il catetere dilatatore. Detto catetere dilatatore viene, successivamente, sfilato dall'introduttore e dalla valvola di non ritorno per potervi inserire il catetere, detta valvola evitando la fuoriuscita di sangue durante la suddetta operazione. Una volta posizionato detto catetere si rimuove l'introduttore, mentre la valvola di non ritorno rimane attorno al catetere da dove, successivamente, viene rimossa (FIG. 1).
