This utility model refers to a face protection structure.

Protective visors have long been widely used especially in the medical field.

The visors are used to protect the operator from any splashes of infected substances in order to avoid contagion, which has recently been particularly dangerous especially due to the hepatitis and HIV viruses.

The products currently on the market are generally disposable, unless you want to decontaminate and wash them, however their cost is quite high and most of them are heavy and bulky.

Moreover, many of the visors on the market are not very easy to use, for example with prescription glasses.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a protective mask structure of extremely low cost.

Within the scope of this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a protective structure which is considerably lighter than traditional ones.

Another object is to provide a versatile and easy to use protective structure.

Yet another object is to provide a compact and easily transportable and storable protective structure.

This task, as well as these and other purposes which will become clearer hereinafter, are achieved by a face protection structure characterized in that it comprises a punched-out transparent film able to be folded along lines designed to form a shape suitable for being worn on the face.

Further characteristics and advantages will become clearer from the description of the protective face mask structure, illustrated by way of non-limiting indication in the accompanying drawings, in which:

With reference to the aforementioned figures, the structure of a protective face mask according to the invention, generally indicated with the reference number 1, comprises a transparent film 2 punched out.

The film 2 comprises prearranged folding lines, 3, 4, 5 and 6, by die-cutting, suitable to allow the film to be folded and shaped in such a way as to adapt to the user's face.

More specifically, the lines 3 allow the sides of the film to be folded for lateral face protection, while the line 4 allows the film to be folded to create an upper horizontal zone 7 which in turn includes a fold line 5 which defines a sectoral area. 8.

The sectored area 8 allows adaptation to the user's forehead by adjusting the radius of curvature of the same area by adjusting the distance between the sectors.

The upper zone 7 advantageously has aeration openings 9 made by C-shaped punching and connected by a folding line.

Advantageously, when the film 2 is still flat, the upper zone 7 and the upper bands 10, 11 of the front portion and of the side portions are darkened, for example by silk-screen printing, to reduce reflections on the user's eyes.

The film can also be provided with an anti-fog treatment, in a per se known manner.

The portion with sectors 8 is advantageously covered with an anti-sweat band 14, for example of non-woven fabric.

Finally, an elastic lace 12 and possibly a medical mask 13 of a per se known type are applied to the film 2.

In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects, having provided an extremely simple and economical protective structure while maintaining all the required safety characteristics.

A great advantage of the invention is also due to the fact that it is possible both to maintain the structure in a flat configuration until the moment of use, and to provide the structure already assembled. In addition to the already very limited weight, the structure according to the invention is also of minimal bulk for transport and storage before use.

The cost and dimensions of the structure according to the invention make it advantageously usable also for non-specialist or professional uses.

The materials used, as well as the dimensions, may of course be any according to the requirements and the state of the art.

CLAIMS 1. Facial protection structure characterized by the fact of comprising a punched transparent film suitable to be folded according to lines arranged to form a shape suitable to be worn on the face. 2. Structure according to claim 1, characterized in that said punched film has a front area, an upper area and two side areas separated by said pre-arranged folding lines. 3. Structure according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said upper zone and the upper portions of said lateral and frontal zones are darkened with respect to the frontal zone to reduce the reflection. 4. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said areas are darkened by screen printing. 5. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said film has an anti-fog treatment. 6. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said upper zone has a portion with sectors adapted to be modeled according to the profile of the user's forehead. 7. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said sector-shaped area has an anti-sweat band. 8. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said upper zone has ventilation openings made by C-shaped punching and connected by a folding line. 9. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises an elastic strap. 10. Structure according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a mask fixed to said film and adapted to cover the user's nose and mouth. 11.
