Abstract
Si tratta di un pianoforte a corde perfezionato con sistema di corde in sospensione, poste in trazione, fissate alle estremità con punte d'aggancio e tensori o caviglie, dove, da metà tastiera verso le frequenze acute, ogni nota (o coro) è formata da quattro corde poste in vibrazione dalla percussione di un martello (di legno ricoperto con feltro) azionato da un meccanismo di leve (meccanica-tastiera) messo a sua volta in movimento dalla pressione esercitata con le dita sul tasto corrispondente.La pressione esercitata dalle corde tese, agisce su dei risonatori d'attacco singoli mobili su di un piano inclinato direttamente fuso nel telaio in ghisa, su dei risonatori della scala duplex singoli e mobili, su un ponticello, sul capotasto.
