Il trovato è riferito ad un procedimento per produrre strutture a rete in materia plastica che comprende una prima fase di estrusione di una struttura tubolare di filamenti longitudinali continui in materia plastica e da una successiva fase che consiste nel sovrapporre filamenti trasversali distanziati al fine di definire un disegno quadrato o rettangolare di fori regolari.Il trovato si riferisce anche ad un apparato per attuare il procedimento comprendente una testa di estrusione con corpo sostanzialmente cilindrico all'interno del quale è definita una camera per il passaggio della materia plastica proveniente da un macchinario estrusore verso un'uscita inferiore.L'apparato si caratterizza per il fatto che detta uscita inferiore è definita tra un'apertura, posizionata in corrispondenza di una porzione inferiore alla fine di detta camera per il passaggio della materia plastica di detta testa, e di una piastra circolare che si affaccia verso detta porzione inferiore.Almeno una delle aperture e della piastra circolare sono provviste di una scanalatura con una pluralità di fessure passanti.Almeno una delle porzioni inferiori e della piastra circolare è collegata ad un mezzo di movimento alternativo per andare a portarsi in battuta e separarsi rispettivamente l'una dall'altra.
