As is known, these spaces consist of a row or a set of squares side by side for the figures and a longer row for writing the amount in letters.

This distribution, which is commonly used for all documents, involves the need to write the amount twice and where the writing of the part in letters is particularly long and requires due attention.

The problem arises that, following the introduction of the Euro, it will be possible to write, for example, a check in one country and cash it, directly without change, in another country with a different language.

This diversity of language, while it is not perceptible for the part in numbers, can lead to an absolute incomprehension when it is necessary to read the part in letters; in fact, each language uses different words to define the numbers and to connect them in a single word. For example, we mention the French which transcribes the number 92 into letters as "four twenty-twelve". All this will inevitably lead to evaluating resignation, or the document in general, only by reading the part in figures with consequent risks of serious errors.

To obviate all the aforementioned drawbacks, a new type of receipt or payment document has been studied and created with a new arrangement and composition of spaces for numbers and letters.

The new receipt or payment document is equipped with spaces for a numerical part in numbers divided into boxes, square, rectangular or other geometric shapes., Each containing a number and where said boxes are not directly next to each other, but are spaced by a suitably colored and / or screened space, and is at the same time equipped with a part for writing in letters divided into boxes of equal quantities. the single number is repeated in letters within these boxes.

In this way, a double entry of the amount is obtained: one in figures, where each figure is placed within a box, and one in letters with a series of words indicating the same number expressed above in figures. These words are preferably written under the number and no longer with a single very long and incomprehensible word.

In this way, each subscriber will indicate in addition to the amount in figures, which are easy to understand, also each single number of the same amount in letters, generally also easy to understand.

In fact, the first nine single numbers of each European language are now common knowledge and in any case it will be easy for anyone to learn them.

It is also known that the Euro will introduce cents and therefore a comma is printed to the left of the first two boxes (from the right), while, to facilitate the reading of amounts over thousands, a point is provided to the left of the first five boxes (from right).

Another very important aspect is the different coloring or screening of the hundredths boxes (for example gray), compared to the units, tens and hundreds (for example light blue) and thousands and over (for example red) boxes. This differentiation makes it possible to identify at a glance the value expressed in the document, where, for example, the red color attracts the most attention, thus indicating an amount of a certain value (over two million lire).

In the attached table, a practical embodiment of the invention is presented by way of non-limiting example.

Figure 1 shows the boxes (A) for the digits surrounded by a colored area (A1 and A2) with underlying and perfectly matching boxes (C) for writing the single number in letters. These boxes (C) for writing numbers in letters are equipped with a line (R) and are of the same size as the corresponding box (A) (upper or lower) suitable for containing the number in digits.

Figure 2 shows the example of a check where a point and a comma are inserted between the strips of boxes (A) and (C) to indicate hundredths and thousands.

The zone corresponding to the cents (d) is in a certain color, while the zone for the units, tens, hundreds (e) is in another color and finally the zone for the thousands (f) is in yet another color. .

These are the schematic modalities sufficient for the skilled person to realize the invention, consequently, in concrete application there may be variations without prejudice to the substance of the innovative concept.
