Abstract
Il trovato in oggetto concerne una particolare barriera bivalente modulare, atta a separare le opposte corsie di un'autostrada, conformata in modo da impedire il ribaltamento degli autoveicoli, assorbire gradualmente un eventuale impatto, ridurre la superficie di strisciamento e quindi il pericolo di incendio.La barriera ha una struttura a vaso, che si allarga progressivamente verso l'alto, per assorbire un eventuale impatto prima con una barra superiore più sporgente, poi con quelle inferiori più rientranti. La struttura viene riempita di terra e quindi presenta un'elevata robustezza.Le barre protettive sono preferibilmente in legno, rinforzato internamente con acciaio e sono spaziate in modo da lasciare delle feritoie longitudinali, attraverso le quali può fuoriuscire la vegetazione, messa a dimora nella struttura a vaso riempita di terra ed entrare l'aria, per una migliore ossigenazione delle piante.
