Abstract

Device for sealing the guide duct for the cooling air associated with the radiator of a motor vehicle that comprises a mounting body 13 bearing a number of radial blades 16 that can oscillate between a position where they obstruct the duct and an open position being hinged to the mounting body 13 by means of a membrane hinge. An actuator ring 24 controls the movement of these blades 16 and is driven by a wax thermostat 57 through an intermediate idler lever 53. Figure 1 <IMAGE>
