Abstract

Il procedimento per la produzione di poli (10) per accumulatori comprende, durante o dopo la foggiatura del polo (10), l'operazione di sottoporre almeno una porzione anulare (14) della superficie laterale del polo (10) ad un trattamento di compressione, in modo tale per cui le irregolarità superficiali e le microporosità di detta porzione anulare (14) vengono eliminate. Preferibilmente il trattamento di compressione viene effettuato serrando detta porzione anulare (14) fra due rulli (18, 20) controruotanti intorno ai rispettivi assi (22, 24), i quali vengono fatti progressivamente avvicinare.(Figura 2)
