Abstract

The plastic band suitable for the winding of pipes includes complimentary designed ‎edges (1,2) on which two respective parallel extending ribs(5,6) and groove(7,8) are ‎foreseen, whereby the width of the outer groove (7) is larger than the thickness of the ‎inner ribs(6) the coupling formed of the ribs(5,6) and grooves(7,8) is located preferably ‎completely inside of the band thickness.‎
