Abstract
本物品は、正面図、背面図、右側面図、左側面図、Ａ－Ａ’線断面図および参考図に示すとおり、上部の宝珠と呼ばれる部分と、下部の伏鉢と呼ばれる部分からなり、真上からみた形が方形、四角形、六角形、八角形となる屋根の場合に雨仕舞いとして取り付けられる宝珠である。正面図、背面図、右側面図、左側面図、Ａ－Ａ’線断面図および参考図に示すとおり、伏鉢部分は、大きさの異なる９つの円板を同心円状に積み重ね、支柱によって等間隔に配置して立体的に構成される。また、宝珠部分は、２つの大きさの異なるリングのうち半径の大きなものが上方、半径の小さなものが下方に水平に配置され、その内側に、内側と外側の両方を弧状として三日月形状を成す９枚の板と、内側のみ弧状とし外側は火焔を表現した形状を成して前記９枚の板の３枚毎に１枚ずつ挿入される３枚の板が、前記２つのリングの内環と垂直に交差しながら中央の軸を中心に周方向に等間隔放射状に配置され、宝珠全体は上部の先端が尖った玉ねぎ形として立体的に構成される。宝珠部分は中央の軸に沿って垂直方向に構造物がなく見通せる「透かし」が形成されるが、その下方の伏鉢部分は宝珠部分とは対照的に水平方向に構造物がなく見通せる「透かし」が形成されている。
