In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, there is provided a sheet-like member having an embroidery member having a surface on which embroidery is to be performed and a positioning means serving as a reference of an embroidery position. The temporary member, the thread forming the embroidery pattern, and the needle for embroidery, the temporary member is overlapped on the side of the embroidered member to be embroidered, and the embroidered member and the temporary member are used for positioning. After an arbitrary embroidery pattern is formed by sewing the thread on the temporary member, the temporary member is removed from the embroidered member and the thread forming the embroidery pattern. Thus, even if the embroidery member has no texture or is not counted as a reference for the embroidery position, it is possible to perform a desired embroidery using the temporary member for positioning.
