Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.基端部と先端部とを備えた軸と、同軸の先端に近接して配置されたバルーン とを有し、前記軸が同軸に沿って配置された外部チューブと内部チューブとを含 むカテーテルにおいて、 内部チューブがニチノールチューブからなり、少なくとも第1の撓曲性領域と その長手方向に沿って延びる第2の撓曲性領域とを備え、第1の撓曲性領域が第 2の撓曲性領域よりも高い撓曲性とオースチナイト仕上げ温度を有することを特 徴とするカテーテル。 2.前記第1の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が33℃以上である請求 項1に記載のカテーテル。 3.前記第2の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が20℃以上である請求 項1に記載のカテーテル。 4.前記第1の撓曲性領域が第2の撓曲性領域の先端部に位置する請求項1に記 載のカテーテル。 5.前記内部チューブが更に前記第1の撓曲性領域と前記第2の撓曲性領域との 間において長手方向に延びる第3の撓曲性領域を備える請求項4に記載のカテー テル。 6.前記第3の撓曲性領域が第1の撓曲性領域に近接した先端部と、前記第2の 撓曲性領域に近接した基端部を備え、第3の撓曲性領域の撓曲性は第1の撓曲性 領域と第2の撓曲性領域との間において可変であり、第3の撓曲性領域の撓曲性 が先端部付近で最も高く、基端部付近で最も低い請求項5に記載のカテーテル。 7.前記第3の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が先端部付近で30℃以 上、基端部付近で20℃以上である請求項6に記載のカテーテル。 8.基端部と先端部とを有するとともに、外部チューブ及び同外部チューブ内に 配置したニチノールチューブを備えることにより、同ニチノールチューブの全長 に沿ってガイドワイヤー腔が形成され、更には内部チューブと外部チューブとの 間に膨張腔を形成するように構成された軸と、 前記軸の先端部に配置され、膨張腔が内部との流体伝達を行うバルーンと、 少なくとも第1の撓曲性領域と第2の撓曲性領域とを備え、第1の撓曲性領域 が第2の撓曲性領域よりも高い撓曲性とオースチナイト仕上げ温度とを備えたニ チノールチューブとを有する大動脈内バルーンカテーテル 9.前記第1の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が33℃以上である請求 項8に記載のカテーテル。 10.前記第2の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が20℃以上である請 求項8に記載のカテーテル。 11.前記第1の撓曲性領域が前記第2の撓曲性領域の先端部に位置する請求項 8に記載のカテーテル。 12.前記内部チューブが更に前記第1の撓曲性領域と第2の撓曲性領域との間 において長手方向に延びる第3の撓曲性領域を備える請求項11に記載のカテー テル。 13.前記第3の撓曲性領域が第1の撓曲性領域に近接した先端部と、前記第2 の撓曲性領域に近接した基端部とを有し、第3の撓曲性領域の撓曲性が第1の撓 曲性領域と第2の撓曲性領域との間において可変であり、第3の撓曲性領域の撓 曲性が先端部付近で最も高く、基端部付近で最も低い請求項12に記載のカテー テル。 14.前記第3の撓曲性領域のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が先端部付近で30℃ 以上、基端部付近で20℃以上である請求項13に記載のカテーテル。 15.基端部と先端部を備え、かつ第1のオースチナイト仕上げ温度と第1の撓 曲性を有するニチノールチューブを提供する工程と、 ニチノールチューブの先端部付近の第1の撓曲性領域を熱して、第1のオース チナイト仕上げ温度より高い第2のオースチナイト仕上げ温度を与え、第1の撓 曲性領域が第1の撓曲性より高い第2の撓曲性を有するようにする熱処理を施す 工程と からなるカテーテルに組み込まれるためのニチノールチューブに複数の異なる撓 曲性領域を形成する方法。 16.第1のオースチナイト仕上げ温度が23℃以上である請求項15に記載の 方法。 17.前記熱処理工程において、ほぼ30℃以上の第2のオースチナイト仕上げ 温度をニチノールチューブの第1の撓曲性領域に与える請求項15に記載の方法 。 18.熱処理工程が第1の撓曲性領域を加熱塩浴に浸す工程を含む請求項15に 記載の方法。 19.ニチノールチューブの第2の撓曲性領域に種々な熱処理を加える工程を備 え、該第2の撓曲性領域が基端部と先端部を備え、該先端部が第1の撓曲性領域 に近接し、さらに該第2の撓曲性領域を熱処理して、その先端部の第2の撓曲性 とほぼ同一の撓曲性から基端部の第1の撓曲性とほぼ同一の撓曲性に移行する撓 曲性を付与する熱処理工程を備えた請求項15に記載の方法。
