Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 電気化学セルとラベル/テスター複合体との組立体において、前記セル は正端子および負端子と金属ハウジングとを含み、前記金属ハウジングの一部が 前記端子の一方を成し、前記金属ハウジングは円筒形壁体を有し、円筒形壁体は 前記それぞれの端部に第1および第2ショルダを備え、前記ラベル/テスター複 合体は前記セルハウジングに固着され、前記複合体は前記ハウジング回りに配置 されるフィルムを含み、前記フィルムは、前記ハウジングに対向するフィルム側 面に配置されたサーモクロミック材料と、前記サーモクロミック材料と熱的に接 触し前記サーモクロミック材料と前記ハウジングとの間に配置された導電性材料 と、前記導電性材料を前記セルハウジングから断熱する手段とを含み、ここに前 記断熱手段は実質的に非導電性材料から成り、またここに前記ラベル/テスター 複合体は前記複合体の少なくとも一端を前記セルショルダの一方の上に均等に熱 収縮させる手段を有し、前記複合体の少なくとも一端を前記セルショルダの一方 の上に均等に熱収縮させる手段は前記導体材料から突出した少なくとも2つの導 体フィンガーを含み、前記複合体はさらに前記導電性材料と前記非導電性材料と の間に仕切被覆を含み、ここに前記仕切被覆の一部は複数の突出リブを成し、こ こに前記導電性フィンガーが前記リブ上に載置され、ここに前記リブはその間に 複数のキャビティを画成し、これらのキャビティを通して前記導電性フィンガー が手で押し込まれて、前記導電性フィンガーを前記端子の一方と電気的に接触さ せる事を特徴とする電気化学セルとラベル/テスター複合体との組立体。 2. 前記非導電性材料はこれを貫通する開口を含み、この開口を通して導電 性材料の一部が手で押し込まれて、この導電性材料の一部をセルハウジングと電 気的に接触させる事を特徴とする請求項1に記載の組立体。 3. 前記テスターは手の圧力を前記リブ上に載置された前記導電性フィンガ ーと、前記開口上方の導電性材料の前記一部とに加える事によって活性化され、 またここに前記テスターは前記手の圧力が除去された時に非活性化される事を特 徴とする請求項2に記載の組立体。 4. 電気化学セルとラベル/テスター複合体との組立体において、前記セル は正端子および負端子と金属ハウジングとを含み、前記ラベル/テスター複合体 は前記セルハウジングに固着され、前記複合体は前記ハウジング回りに配置され るフィルムを含み、前記フィルムは、前記ハウジングに対向するフィルム側面に 配置されたサーモクロミック材料と、前記サーモクロミック材料と熱的に接触し 、前記サーモクロミック材料と前記ハウジングとの間に配置された導電性材料と を含み、前記導電性材料の一部は、放電されていない前記セルの端子に電気的に 接続されると、前記サーモクロミック材料の外観を変更させるに十分な熱を発生 する事ができ、前記複合体はさらに前記導電性材料を前記セルハウジングから断 熱する手段を含み、前記手段は実質的に非導電性材料中の第1開口を含み、前記 第1開口は前記導電性材料の前記発熱部分の一方の側面の表面積の少なくとも4 0%に等しいサイズを有し、前記非導電性材料はこれを貫通する第2開口を有し 、ここに前記第2開口は前記第1開口から離間されて、導電性材料の一部を前記 第2開口を通して押し込んでこの導電性材料部分をセルハウジングの一部と電気 的に接触させる事により前記テスターが活性化される事を特徴とする電気化学セ ルとラベル/テスター複合体との組立体。 5. 前記非導電性材料中の前記第1開口は、長さより小なる幅を有する細長 い溝穴であって、その幅が実質的にセルハウジングの周方向となるようにセルに 対して整列されている事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 6. 前記非導電性材料は前記第1開口中に捕捉された空気によって断熱作用 を生じるのに十分な厚さを有する事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 7. 前記セルは円筒形であって、前記非導電性材料の厚さと前記第1開口の 幅は、前記複合体をセルに取付けた時に、ラベル/テスター複合体の前記非導電 性材料以外の部分が前記第1開口を通して前記セルハウジングに接触しないよう に予め決定される事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 8. 前記非導電性材料は約2.7×106オーム/センチメートルより大き な体積抵抗率と約10W・m-1K-1以下の伝熱率とを有する事を特徴とする請求 項4に記載の組立体。 9. 前記非導電性材料の厚さは約2mil乃至12mil(0.05mm乃至0.3mm)の 範囲内にある事を特徴とする請求項8に記載の組立体。 10. 前記非導電性材料中の前記第1開口は前記導電性材料の発熱部分の一 方の側面の表面積の少なくとも60%の面積をカバーする事を特徴とする請求項 8に記載の組立体。 11. 前記非導電性材料は紙、プラスチックフィルム、ポリマーフォームお よびその任意の組合わせから成るグループから選定される事を特徴とする請求項 8に記載の組立体。 12. 前記非導電性材料は紙である事を特徴とする請求項8に記載の組立体 。 13. 前記セルの金属ハウジングはそれぞれの末端に第1および第2ショル ダを備えた円筒形壁体を有し、また前記ラベル/テスター複合体はこの複合体の 少なくとも一端を前記セルショルダの一方の上に均等に加熱収縮させる手段を含 む事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 14. 複合体の少なくとも一端を均等に加熱収縮させる前記手段は前記導電 性材料から突出した少なくとも2つの導電性フィンガーを含む事を特徴とする請 求項16に記載の組立体。 15. さらに前記導電性材料と前記非導電性材料との間に仕切被覆を含む事 を特徴とする請求項14に記載の組立体。 16. 前記仕切被覆の一部が前記非導電性材料中の前記第1開口をカバーし 、 また前記前記第1開口をカバーする前記仕切被覆の前記部分がその表面にギャッ プを有しない連続被覆である事を特徴とする請求項15に記載の組立体。 17. 前記仕切被覆の一部が複数の突出リブを成し、ここに前記導電性フィ ンガーが前記リブ上に載置され、ここに前記リブがその間に複数のキャビティを 画成し、これらのキャビティを通して前記導電性フィンガーが押し通される事を 特徴とする請求項15に記載の組立体。 18. サーモクロミック材料を塗布された前記フィルムは非可塑化ポリ塩化 ビニルとポリプロピレンとから成るグループから選定される熱収縮性フィルムで ある事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 19. 前記フィルムはその一方の側面にグラフィックスを印刷された熱収縮 性フィルムであり、また前記フィルムはそのグラフィックスと同一側面に感圧性 接着剤を有し、また前記複合体は前記接着剤がセルハウジングに接触するように この複合体をセルハウジングの回りに巻き付ける事によってセルに取付けられる 事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 20. ラベル/テスター複合体は100mil(2.5mm)以下の厚さを有 する事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 21. 前記非導電性材料中の前記第2開口は約1.6乃至2.4mmの範囲 内の直径を有する事を特徴とする請求項4に記載の組立体。 22. 前記リブによって画成される前記キャビティの少なくとも1つは約0 .1mil(0.0025mm)乃至約2.0mil(0.05m)の厚さを有する事を特徴とする請求 項17に記載の組立体。
