- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. a)混合成分よりなる原料を供給する工程と、 b)同原料をプラズマ形状又はイオン化された形状に変換する工程と、 c)少なくとも部分的にイオン化された形状における少なくとも1つの成 分及び少なくとも部分的にイオン化されない形状における少なくとも1つの異な る成分とを提供する工程と、 d)同プラズマ及びイオンの少なくともいずれかを磁場に含む工程と、 e)同イオン化された成分をイオン化されない成分から分離する工程と、 とよりなる方法。 2.所望する成分が金属と非金属の同位体の混合物と金属と非金属の元素の混合 物との少なくともいずれか一方より抽出される請求項1に記載の方法。 3.原料は固体又は液体の原料を沸騰、揮発と昇華との少なくともいずれか一方 によりガス状にて供給される請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4.同原料に存在する金属元素の一部又は全てがイオン化される請求項1乃至3 のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 5.原子量が90を超える金属元素がイオン化される請求項4に記載の方法。 6.成分のイオン化がプラズマの温度によることと成分と電子サイクロトロン共 鳴により発生される高エネルギー電子との相互作用によることとの少なくともい ずれか一方により引き起こされる請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 7.イオン化はエネルギー投入量のレベルにより調節される請求項1乃至6のい ずれか1項に記載の方法。 8.エネルギー投入量は原料の成分間で選択的ではない請求項1乃至7のいずれ か1項に記載の方法。 9.イオン化された原料成分とイオン化されない原料成分が一般的条件下では平 衡である請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 10.原料は分子の形体で供給され、別々の原子として選択的に分離される請求 項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 11.原料はイオン化されない形体において閉じ込め磁場に導入される請求項1 乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 12.イオン化された成分とイオン化されない成分との分離は、イオン化された 成分は磁場に抑制される一方、イオン化されない成分はプラズマから分離される ことにより実行される請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 13.分離は複数の段階により実行され、段階はそれぞれ異なる圧力において運 転され、入口に近い1つ以上の段階における圧力は入口から遠い1つ以上の段階 における圧力よりも高い請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 14.3つの段階が設けられ、第1のゾーンが10と50Paの間、第2ゾーン が5と20Paとの間、第3のゾーンが2と10Paとの間で運転される請求項 13に記載の方法。 15.分離されたイオン化されない成分は引き続く使用と更なる加工にさらされ ることとの少なくともいずれか一方のために再利用される請求項1乃至14のい ずれか1項に記載の方法。 16.荷電成分は液体又は固体の製品を得るために、冷却と放電との少なくとも いずれか一方を行われる請求項1乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 17.一定の運動エネルギーレベルにおいて化学物質を導入する工程と、この化 学物質を残存する荷電成分又は複数の荷電成分と接触させる工程と、荷電成分の 運動エネルギーレベルと化学物質とは、荷電されない成分又は粒子が生成される ほど大きいこととからなる請求項1乃至16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 18.成分及び更なる化学物質が生成する粒子に結合される請求項17に記載の 方法。 19.a)プラズマ/イオン発生器と、 b)混合成分である原料を選択的にイオン化する手段と、 c)プラズマ/イオンを閉じ込める磁場を作り出す磁場発生手段と、 d)磁場から荷電されない成分を取り除く手段と を備える分離装置 20.プラズマ/イオンは電磁波加熱器又は高周波加熱器により発生される請求 項19に記載の装置。 21.炉、加熱器、電磁波源又は揮発器が原料を加熱と揮発との少なくともいず れか一方を行うために使用される請求項19又は20に記載の装置。 22.原料より生成される部分的イオン化/部分的非イオン化は平衡状態にある 請求項19乃至21のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 23.荷電されない成分を除去する手段はポンプ装置を含む請求項19乃至22 のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 24.イオン化されない成分は1段以上の段階で原料から分離される請求項19 乃至23のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 25.複数の段階は互いに孔を備えるバフル要素により隔離されている請求項2 4に記載の装置。 26.孔は、その入口からの距離におけるプラズマ/イオン流れにほぼ相当する 半径を有することと、孔の位置において、1つ以上の孔は入口又はプラズマ発生 器のノズルからの距離の4乗根にほぼ相当することとからなる請求項25に記載 の装置。 27.装置は残存する成分にケンチングと冷却との少なくともいずれか一方を与 えるために、残存する工程流れに化学物質を加える方法を更に与える請求項19 乃至26のいずれか1項に記載の装置。 28.a)混合成分よりなる原料を供給する工程と、 b)原料をプラズマ/イオン化形体に変換する工程と、 c)少なくとも部分的にイオン化された形体にある少なくとも1つの成分 と少なくとも部分的にイオン化されない形体にある少なくとも1つの成分とを供 給する工程と、 d)プラズマ/イオンを磁場に閉じ込める工程と、 e)イオン化された成分をイオン化されない成分から分離する工程と、 とを備え、更に分離されたイオン化された1つ以上の成分の少なくともいくつか をイオン化されない形状に変換することとを備える方法。 29.成分が運動エネルギーを減少することにより荷電されない形体に変換され る請求項28に記載の方法。 30.成分が成分を表面、好ましくは冷却された表面に衝突させることにより荷 電されない形体に変換される請求項28又は29に記載の方法。 31.成分が化学物質を添加することにより荷電されない形体に変換される請求 項28乃至30のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 32.化学物質がガス状における所望の荷電されない形体を得るために、予め決 められた運動エネルギーレベルで添加される請求項31に記載の方法。 33.化学物質の添加又はさらなる段階における更なる化学物質の添加は、固体 状の物質が製造される段階にまで運動エネルギーを減少させるほどのもである請 求項31又は32に記載の方法。 34.a)プラズマ/イオン発生器と、 b)混合成分の選択的イオン化手段と、 c)プラズマ/イオンの閉じ込め磁場を作り出す磁場発生手段と、 d)磁場から荷電されない成分を取り除く手段と、 e)分離された荷電成分の少なくともいくつかを荷電されない形体に変換 する手段、 とを備える分離装置。 35.化学物質が多段階で導入されることと、種々の入口が工程流れの方向にお いて互いに離間することとからなる請求項34に記載の分離装置。 36.請求項1乃至35のいずれか1項により分離された成分、物質、元素又は 同位体。 37.請求項1乃至36のいずれか1項による製品又は更に加工された製品を取 り入れる核反応器のための燃料ペレット、燃料棒又は燃料アセンブリ。
