Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.窒素酸化物を吸収して活力を失った吸収体から前記窒素酸化物を除去する のに有効とする量の還元ガスと、不活性キャリヤーガスとから成る再生ガスを用 意する段階と、 前記活力を失った吸収体から前記窒素酸化物を除去して再生された吸収体と するのに有効とする時間と、温度と、空間速度とによって前記再生ガスを前記活 力を失った吸収体に接触させる段階とから成る活力を失った吸収体を再生する方 法。 2.前記温度を121℃(250°F)乃至399℃(750°F)の範囲内 とする請求項1に記載の方法。 3.前記再生ガスが、さらに二酸化炭素を10%まで含むものとする請求項1 に記載の方法。 4.前記還元ガスを一酸化炭素とする請求項1に記載の方法。 5.前記還元ガスを水素とする請求項1に記載の方法。 6.前記還元ガスを一酸化炭素と水素との混合物とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 7.前記空間速度を10hr-1乃至100,000hr-1の範囲内とする請求 項1に記載の方法。 8.前記空間速度を500hr-1乃至16,000hr-1の範囲内とする請求 項7に記載の方法。 9.前記吸収体はアルカリあるいはアルカリ土類炭酸塩または重炭酸塩の被覆 を施したものとする請求項1に記載の方法。 10.前記アルカリあるいはアルカリ土類炭酸塩を炭酸カリウムとする請求項 9に記載の方法。 11.前記触媒/吸収体を水性又は非水性の白金とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 12.前記吸収体を白金の被覆を施したアルミナ支持体から成るものとする請 求項1に記載の方法。 13.アルカリあるいはアルカリ土類炭酸塩または重炭酸塩の成分を含み、そ れに窒素酸化物を吸収している活力を失った触媒/吸収体から前記窒素酸化 物を除去し、前記アルカリあるいはアルカリ土類に関して炭酸塩の形を取り戻す ために一酸化炭素と水素ガスとその混合物の中から選択した還元剤の有効量を含 有し、さらに少なくとも一酸化炭素あるいは二酸化炭素を含有することを特徴と する不活性キャリヤーガスの流れを用意する段階と; 前記活力を失った触媒/吸収体から前記窒素酸化物を除去して再生された触媒 /吸収体にするために有効とする時間をかけて、121℃(250°F)乃至3 99℃(750°F)の範囲内の温度で、10乃至100,000hr-1の範囲 内のGHSVで前記活力を失った吸収体に前記ガス流を通過させる段階とから成 る活力を失った触媒/吸収体を再生する方法。 14.前記不活性キャリヤーガスが窒素、蒸気又はその混合物から成るものと する請求項13に記載の方法。 15.前記不活性ガスが窒素から成り、前記還元剤が約500ppm乃至10% の一酸化炭素を含むものとする請求項14に記載の方法。 16.前記不活性キャリヤーガスが蒸気から成るものとする請求項14に記載 の方法。 17.前記不活性キャリヤーガスが窒素から成り、前記還元剤が約500ppm 乃至10%の水素から成るものとする請求項14に記載の方法。 18.前記アルカリあるいはアルカリ土類をリチウム、ナトリウムまたはカル シウムとする請求項14に記載の方法。 19.前記アルカリあるいはアルカリ土類をカリウムから成るものとする請求 項18に記載の方法。 20 前記不活性ガスを蒸気から成るものとする請求項14に記載の方法。
