Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.固形水素貯蔵媒体を保持するための複数のセルと、水素が内部を流れるポ− トとを有する第1の容器を含む、水素を貯蔵及び放出するための装置。 2.さらに、容器に連結する流路であて、貯蔵媒体に熱を伝達し且つ貯蔵媒体か ら熱を除去するのに適合した流体を運搬するための流路を含む請求項1に記載の 装置。 3.さらに、ポ−トと連結し、且つ容器内に貯蔵媒体を保持するための手段を含 む請求項1に記載の装置。 4.セルがアルミニウム発泡材から形成され、且つフィルタ−が、貯蔵媒体がポ −トを通って容器から漏出することを防止する請求項1に記載の装置。 5.さらに、(1)アルミニウム発泡材を複数の部分に分離し、且つ容器を複数 の室に分割するための複数の仕切板と、(2)アルミニウム発泡材と熱的に連結 される伝熱面とを含む請求項4に記載の装置。 6.さらに、金属水素化物粒子を保持するための容器であり且つ水素が流れる第 2のポ−トを含む第2の容器と、第2のポ−トを第1の容器のポ−トに連結する ための手段とを含む請求項2に記載の装置。 7.第2容器はさらに流体を運ぶためのぼぼU字型の導管を含み、該導管は、第 2容器内に配置され且つ第2容器の底部付近に配置された入口と、出口とを含む 請求項6に記載の装置。 8.水素貯蔵装置であって、 a.固体水素貯蔵媒体を保持するための第1容器であって、熱伝導性材料から 形成される壁を含む第1容器と、 b.流体を、該壁を通じて循環させ、それにより水素の吸着又は貯蔵媒体から の水素の脱離が流体の温度に依存する結果となる手段と、 c.第1容器が、水素流体が内部を流れる第1ポ−トを有することを含む水素 貯蔵装置。 9.さらに、第1ポ−トに挿入及び封止されて、貯蔵媒体の漏出を防止するが水 素流の通過は可能にするためのフィルタ−を含む請求項8に記載の水素貯蔵装置 。 10.さらに、(1)第1容器を複数の室に分割するために第1容器内に配置さ れる手段と、(2)各室内に配置され且つ熱伝導壁に結合され、貯蔵媒体を保持 するための多数のセルを形成する熱発泡材とを含む請求項9に記載の水素貯蔵装 置。 11.貯蔵媒体が、粒子状であり、且つ、ランタン、ニッケル及びアルミニウム を含む合金から形成される金属水素化物である請求項10に記載の水素貯蔵装置 。 12.第1容器が直径を有し、且つ、該第1容器の直径に対する室の長さの比が 約0.5〜2である請求項10に記載の水素貯蔵装置。 13.さらに、 a.固体水素貯蔵媒体を保持するための第2容器と、 b.流体を容器全体に運搬し、それにより水素の吸着又は貯蔵媒体からの脱離 を、流体の温度に従って生じさせる導管とを含み、 c.第2容器が、水素流体が内部を流れる第2のポ−トを有する請求 項8に記載の水素貯蔵装置。 14.第1及び第2の容器が a.第1と第2のポ−トを結合するための手段と、 b.循環手段と導管を結合するための手段とにより連結される請求項13に記 載の水素貯蔵装置。 15.導管が、ほぼU字型であり、第2容器の底部付近に配置された下脚を含み 、該下脚を通じて循環流体が入る請求項14に記載の水素貯蔵装置。 16.水素を固体形態で保持するための再充填可能な貯蔵装置であって、 a. 熱発泡材から形成された複数のセルと、 熱発泡材に熱的に連結された伝熱面とをそれぞれ含む複数の室 に分割された第1容器と、 b.水素流が流れるポ−トと、 c.ポ−ト内に配置されて、貯蔵媒体の漏出を防止するためのフィルタ−とを 含む貯蔵装置。 17.さらに、 a.水素貯蔵媒体を保持するための複数のセル、流体を運搬するための導管及 び水素が流れる第2のポ−トとを含む第2容器と、 b.第1と第2のポ−トを結合するための手段とを含む請求項16に記載の貯 蔵装置。 18.第1容器が鋼管であり、セルが、約0.05インチ〜0.1インチの直径 を有する複数の孔を含むアルミニウム発泡材マトリックスから形成され、且つ、 ポ−トが、各室を少なくとも部分的に通って延在する多孔質の鋼管を含む請求項 17に記載の貯蔵装置。 19.水素を貯蔵するための固体を保持するための容器を含む水素貯蔵装置を再 充填するための方法であって、容器は、水素ポ−トと、容器と連結して熱を容器 へ及び容器から伝達するための手段とを含み、 a.水素流の流れをポ−ト内に向ける段階と、 b.固体による水素の吸着後に発生する熱を除去する段階とを含む方法。 20.室に分割された容器を含む水素貯蔵媒体装置を放出するための方法であっ て、各室は、金属水素化物粒子を保持するための多数のセルを形成するマトリッ クスを備え、 a.熱を容器に伝達する段階と、 b.熱を、容器内に配置された金属水素化物粒子に、マトリックスを介して分 配して水素を脱離させる段階と、 c.脱離された水素が内部を流れるポ−トを設ける段階とを含む方法。
