- 【特許請求の範囲】 1 少なくとも一つの平面を有し、液体が入る隙間がないよう密着させて第一部 材と係合した導波管と、 導波管と結合し、導波管と共に生物学的液体を入れるためのリザーバの壁面を 区画し、同時に導波管の表面が前記リザーバの床板を区画し、前記床板が一部分 で捕捉分子と結合している第一部材とを含み、生物学的液体を分析するための装 置中で使用する改良されたバイオセンサであって、不活性かつ不透明な材料から 形成されているリザーバ壁面を含む改良されたバイオセンサ。 2 前記不活性かつ不透明な材料が金属であるものとする請求項1に記載の改良 されたバイオセンサ。 3 前記第一部材全体が金属で形成されているものとする請求項1に記載の改良 されたバイオセンサ。 4 前記第一部材がリザーバに液体を振動するための出入口を有するものとする 請求項1に記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 5 前記バイオセンサが導波管への第一部材の装着を緩衝するために配置された ガスケットを含むものとする請求項1に記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 6 前記ガスケットが薄層の可塑性材料および合成樹脂ポリマー材料であるもの とする請求項5に記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 7 前記導波管がプラスチック、石英およびガラスから成る光学材料の部類の中 から選択した一つの光学材料から形成されるものとする請求項1に記載の改良さ れたバイオセンサ。 8 前記導波管が平坦かつ結合効率とビームの特性を監視するために前記導波管 を通過する光を測定するための後部レンズと結合しているものとする請求項8に 記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 9 前記バイオセンサが第二部材を含むことと、前記導波管が前記第一部材と前 記第二部材との間に挟まれることからなる請求項1に記載の改良されたバイオセ ンサ。 10 前記バイオセンサが支持板を含むものとする請求項9に記載の改良された バイオセンサ。 11前記バイオセンサが第三部材を含むことと、前記第三部材が前記バイオセン サと測定装置とを結合するための手段を有していることをからなる測定装置に配 置された請求項10に記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 12 前記導波管が平坦かつ前記導波管に光を結合するための回折格子と結合し ているものとする請求項7に記載の改良されたバイオセンサ。 13 光を受けるためのレンズ末端部を有する前部傾斜部と、 前記導波管の外で光を伝搬するためのレンズを有する後部傾斜部と、 前記前部傾斜部にレンズにおいて受け取られる光を前記後部傾斜部にレンズを 通して伝搬するために、前記前部傾斜部から前記後部傾斜部へ光を伝搬するため の互いに平行な第一平面および第二平面を有する平面部とから成る導波管。 14 捕捉分子が前記平面部の前記第一平面に結合するものとする請求項13に 記載の導波管。 15 前記導波管が光学プラスチックから形成されることと、前部傾斜部が約1 5度から32度の平均角で平面部の平面から反対に折れ曲がることからなる請求 項13に記載の導波管。 16 少なくとも一つの平面を有し、導波管を通過する光を測定するような方向 に向けた後部レンズと光学的に結合し、カプリング効率とビーム特性を監視し、 さらには液体が入る隙間がないよう密着させて第一部材と結合した導波管と、 導波管と結合し、導波管と共に生物学的液体を入れるための複数個のリザーバ の壁面を区画し、同時に導波管の表面が前記複数個のリザーバの非金属床板を区 画し、前記床板が一部分で捕捉分子と結合している第一部材と、 前記第一部材の導波管への接着を保護するよう配置されたガスケットと、 第一部材と第二部材の間に導波管が挟まれるような第二部材とから成る、生物 学的液体を分析するための装置中で使用するバイオセンサ。 17 前記第一部材がリザーバに液体を注入または排出するための出入口を有す るものとする請求項16に記載のバイオセンサ。 18 少なくとも一つの平面を有し、導波管を通過する光を測定するような方向 に向けた後部レンズと光学的に結合し、カプリング効率とビーム特性を監視し、 さらには液体が入る隙間がないよう密着させて第一部材と結合した導波管と、 導波管と結合し、導波管と共に生物学的液体を入れるための一つ以上のリザー バを区画し、同時に導波管の表面が前記リザーバの床板または天井板を区画し、 前記床板が一部分で捕捉分子と結合している第一部材と、 生物学的液体を前記捕捉分子と接触させるために前記生物学的液体を前記リザ ーバに注入および排出するための前記リザーバと互いに流体の移動が可能である ように連通した出入口とから成る、生物学的液体を分析するための装置中で使用 する改良された装置。 19 光源と、 少なくとも一つの平面を有し、さらには液体が入る隙間がないよう密着 させて第一部材と結合した導波管と、 導波管と結合し、導波管と共に生物学的液体を入れるための一つ以上の リザーバを区画し、前記平面が一部分で捕捉分子と結合している第一部材と、 生物学的液体を前記捕捉分子と接触させるために前記生物学的液体を前 記リザーバに注入および排出するための前記リザーバと互いに流体の移動が可能 であるように連通した出入口と、 前記平面を通して放射する光を検出するための光検出器とから成るバイオセンサ を有する改良された装置であって、 表面が一般的に水平で、装置が置かれているその表面の水準にあって、平面が 前記リザーバの天井板を形成するような方法で前記バイオセンサの向きを合わせ て置ぐことから成る、生物学的液体を分析するための改良された装置。
