Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.排ガス清浄化装置中に順次配置されている第一触媒及び第二触媒からなるデ ィーゼルエンジンの排ガスの清浄化のための触媒系において、2種の触媒が還元 触媒であり、これらのうち、第一触媒は、排ガス温度が、エンジンの全負荷の際 に200℃〜300℃を上回る温度に達する排ガス清浄化装置の領域でエンジン 近くに配置されており、第二触媒は、エンジンから離れて配置されているが、こ の場合、排ガス清浄化装置のエンジンから離れた領域中では、排ガス温度は、エ ンジンの全負荷の際に、第二触媒の温度窓領域の範囲内であることを特徴とする 、ディーゼルエンジンの排ガスの清浄化のための触媒系。 2.第一触媒が、触媒の残りの部分よりも少ない触媒活性を有する1つ以上の領 域を有しており、この領域が、エンジンの全負荷の際に、まだ変換していない炭 化水素及び一酸化炭素の差を生じさせる、請求項1に記載の触媒系。 3.より少ない触媒活性を有する領域が、第一触媒中の中央に配置された貫通孔 からなる、請求項2に記載の触媒系。 4.より少ない触媒活性を有する領域が、第一触媒の周縁部の環状領域からなる 、請求項2に記載の触 媒系。 5.より少ない触媒活性を有する領域が、第一触媒の弓状部又は扇状部からなる 、請求項2に記載の触媒系。 6.より少ない触媒活性を有する領域が、炭化水素のための吸着剤を備えさせら れている、請求項4又は5に記載の触媒系。 7.より少ない触媒活性を有する領域が、触媒の残りの領域のような触媒活性成 分の濃度の0〜20%を示すにすぎない、請求項2から6までのいずれか1項に 記載の触媒系。 8.第一触媒の窒素酸化物還元率の最大値が、第二触媒の窒素酸化物還元率の最 大値よりも低い温度で存在する、請求項7に記載の触媒系。
