Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 (1)ガス発生器セル(槽)内の電解質への直流の印加により選択されたガスを 発生するためのガス発生器システムであって、 (a)50〜60HzのAC電力を受け入れて交流電力から直流電力出力に整流 し濾波するための入力整流器およびフィルタと、 (b)DC直流出力を受け入れて高周波DC電力出力を提供する高周波インバー タと、 (c)高周波DC電力出力を受け入れてガス発生器のカソードに連続的DC電力 を供給するためのDC出力および整流器と、 (d)カソードを具備し電解質を有するガス発生器であって、そのセルが連続的 出力DC電力を受け取って発生器出力から高純度ガスを発生するガス発生器と、 (e)ガス発生器からのガス圧またはガス流を監視して、電圧信号を発生するた めのトランスジューサと、 (f)制御回路と を備え、該制御回路が、 i)電圧信号を受信し比較して、電圧制御信号を供給するための電圧比較回路お よび基準回路と、 ii)制御信号を受信し、該制御信号に応答してPWM出力信号を供給するパル ス幅変調器(PWM)と を備え、このPWM信号が高周波インバータにフィードバックされてDC出力お よび整流器に対する高周波DC電力出力のパルス幅を変更し、ガス発生器のカソ ードに制御されパルス変調された連続DC電力を供給することを特徴とするガス 発生器システム。 (2)前記高周波インバータがDC電力を高周波数の約20〜100kHzのD C電力出力に変換する請求項1記載のシステム。 (3)変更されたパルス幅出力が約10〜25マイクロ秒のパルス時間を有する 請求項1記載のシステム。 (4)電解質および高純度ガスの抜出し用のガス出口を有するDC電力駆動ガス 発生器から高純度ガスを供給する方法であって、 (a)AC電力源を提供し、 (b)AC電力をDC電力出力に整流し、 (c)DC電力出力をインバーティングして、高周波数のDC電力出力を供給し 、 (d)ガス圧またはガス流についてガス出口を監視し、このガス圧またはガス流 に応答して電圧信号を発生し、 (e)電圧信号を基準信号に比較して、電圧制御信号を発生し、 (f)パルス幅変調器からのパルス幅変調信号を発生し、電圧制御信号に応答し てパルス幅を変更してPWM出力信号を供給し、 (g)このPWM出力信号により高周波数のDC電力出力を変更して、高周波数 PWM電力出力を供給し、 (h)PWM電力出力を整流して、平坦な、連続的DC電力出力を供給し、そし て (i)この平坦な、連続的DC電力出力をガス発生器に供給する ことを特徴とする高純度ガス発生方法。 (5)約50〜60HzのAC電力を供給し、約20〜100kHzの高周波数 にインバーティングすることによって周波数を増す請求項4記載の高純度ガス発 生方法。 (6)DC電力出力をパラジウムカソードを有する超高純度水素ガス発生器に供 給することを含む請求項4記載の高純度ガス発生方法。
