Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.少なくとも7.3g/ccのコア密度及び焼入れ浸炭表面を有する粉末金属歯車。 2.前記表面が錬鋼の完全密度に近い密度を有する請求項1に記載の粉末金属歯 車。 3.約7.4g/cc〜7.6g/ccのコア密度を有する請求項2に記載の粉末金属歯車。 4.a)粉末金属ギヤを焼結して、コア密度を約7.4〜7.6g/ccとする工程; b)焼結粉末金属の表面を圧延して、該表面を高密度化する工程; c)圧延した焼結ギヤを真空炉中で加熱し、浸炭する工程 を含むことを特徴とする粉末金属ギヤの製造方法。 5.プロパンを前記熱処理工程で使用する請求項4に記載の方法。 6.前記加熱を800℃〜1300℃の温度で行う請求項5に記載の方法。 7.前記焼結を1250℃より高い温度で行う請求項6に記載の方法。
