Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.熱いロール状スチールロッドを冷却する装置であって、 前記ロッドを連続した一連のリングに加工する撚り手段と、 前記リングを前記撚り手段から受け取って、前記リングを少なくとも一つの冷 却ゾーンを通って進むパスに沿って運ぶコンベヤ手段であって、前記リングは前 記コンベヤの上に、連続したリングが前記パスの方向にお互いにオフセットした 部分的に重ねられたパターンで置かれて、前記コンベヤ手段の端部領域に沿った 前記パターンのリング密度が前記コンベヤ手段の中央領域におけるリング密度に 比べて大きいリングを運ぶ、コンベヤ手段と、 前記コンベヤ手段の下に置かれて、気体状冷却剤を前記リングを通って上方に 向ける冷却手段と、 気体状冷却剤の前記リングを通る上向き流れを阻害する孔付き手段であって、 前記孔付き手段が、前記コンベヤ手段の中央領域に沿って、その上を運搬される リングと前記冷却手段との間に延びている、孔付き手段と、 を備えている、装置。 2.請求の範囲1に記載の装置であって、前記冷却手段は、前記コンベヤ手段 の一方の端部領域から前記中央領域を横切って他方の端部領域まで、前記パスを 横切って横断するように延びるノズルを含み、前記ノズルは前記孔付き手段の上 方に配置されている、装置。 3.請求の範囲1に記載の装置であって、前記孔付き手段は貫通孔が設けられ たプレートである、装置。 4.請求の範囲1に記載の装置であって、前記孔付き手段はメッシュである、 装置。 5.請求の範囲1に記載の装置であって、前記孔付き手段は、前記コンベヤの 前記端部領域に沿って付加的に延びていて、前記孔付き手段を通る前記気体状冷 却剤の流れに対して利用可能な開口面積の割合が、前記端部領域に比べて前記中 央領域で少なくなっている、装置。 6.請求の範囲5に記載の装置であって、前記孔付き手段の開口面積の割合を 調整する調整手段を更に備えている、装置。 7.請求の範囲6に記載の装置であって、前記調整手段が、少なくとも2つの 積み重ねられた貫通孔が設けられた要素を備えており、前記要素の一方が前記要 素の他方に対してシフト可能である、装置。 8.熱いロール状スチールロッドを冷却する方法であって、 前記ロッドを連続した一連のリングに加工するステップと、 一つの冷却ゾーンを通って進むパスに沿って前記リングを運ぶためにコンベヤ の上に配置するステップであって、前記リングは前記コンベヤの上に、連続した リングが前記パスの方向にお互いにオフセットした部分的に重ねられたパターン で置かれて、該コンベヤの端部領域に沿った該パターンのリング密度が該コンベ ヤの中央領域におけるリング密度に比べて大きくなるように配置するステップと 、 前記コンベヤの下から前記リングを通って上方に気体状冷却剤を向けるステッ プと、 前記コンベヤの中央領域において、気体状冷却剤の前記リングを通る上向き流 れを、前記冷却剤を前記中央領域に沿って延びる孔付き手段を通過させることに よって、選択的に阻害するステップと、 を含む、方法。
