- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.恒久的に親水性の熱可塑性繊維であって、熱可塑性ポリマーと、(a)フ ルオロ脂肪族基を含有し、自らの構造中に1つ以上のポリオキシアルキレン基を 有する非イオン界面活性剤1種以上と(b)非イオン性であり、フッ素化されて おらず、ポリオキシエチレン基を含有し、20〜80重量パーセントのポリオキ シエチレンを含有する界面活性剤1種以上の混合物とを含み、前記混合物が、該 熱可塑性繊維に恒久的な親水性を与えるのに十分な濃度で該繊維中に存在する、 恒久的に親水性の繊維。 2.非イオン性であり、フッ素化されておらず、ポリオキシエチレン基を含有 する該界面活性剤の1種以上が、以下の式: Rh−Z−(C2H4O)x−C2H4−Z−R'h (式中: Rhは、アルキル基もしくはアリール基、またはそれらの組み合わせであり、 置換または未置換であっでもよく、炭素原子2〜約20を含有し、その骨格鎖は 直鎖、分岐鎖もしくは十分に長い場合には、環状であっても、またはそれらの組 み合わせであってもよく、該骨格鎖は選択的に、該骨格鎖の炭素原子に結合する 1つ以上のカテナリーヘテロ原子を含んでもよく; R’hは、水素原子またはアルキル基もしくはアリール基、またはそれらの組 み合わせであり、置換または未置換であってもよく、炭素原子2〜約20を含有 し、その骨格鎖は直鎖、分岐鎖もしくは十分に長い場合には、環状であっても、 またはそれらの組み合わせであってもよく、該骨格鎖は選択的に、該骨格鎖の炭 素原子に結合 する1つ以上のカテナリーヘテロ原子を含んでもよく;図示するRhおよびR’h の一方または両方が以下の式: (式中、図示するR基は全て、炭素原子2〜約10を含有し、置換または未置換 であってもよく、直鎖または分岐鎖、環状または非環状であってもよく、1つ以 上のカテナリーヘテロ原子を含有してもよいアルキル基またはアリール基としで 独立に選択される) のポリジアルキルシロキサン基を含有してもよく; Zは、酸素原子もしくは硫黄原子または式−CO−、−COO−、−NH−、 −CONH−または−N(R)−で、ここで、Rは炭素原子1〜10を含有し、 カテナリーヘテロ原子を含有してもよく、1つ以上のエチレンオキサイド基を含 有してもよい置換または未置換アルキル基またはアリール基であり;Rは環状ま たは非環状であってもよいアルキル基であり; xは、該界面活性剤中のポリオキシエチレンの重量パーセントが約20〜80 パーセントであるように選択される数である) を有する化合物 または式: (式中、nおよびmは2〜約20の数で、該界面活性剤中のポリオキシエチレン の重量パーセントが20〜80パーセントであるように選択され; 各Rは、置換または未置換であってもよく、炭素原子2〜約20を含有し、そ の骨格鎖は直鎖、分岐鎖もしくは十分に長い場合には、環状であっても、または それらの組み合わせであってもよく、この骨格鎖はまた選択的に、該骨格鎖の炭 素原子に結合する1つ以上のカテナリーヘテロ原子を含んでもよいアルキル基ま たはアリール基として互いに独立して選択される) を有する化合物 または式:(式中、 n、x、yおよびzは、図示する界面活性剤中の繰り返し単位の 数を示し、該界面活性剤中のポリオキシエチレンの重量パーセントが20〜80 パーセントであるように選択され、 Qは、多価結合基または共有結合で、ケイ素原子を図示するオキシアルキレン 基に結合させる手段を提供し;Qはヘテロ原子を含有する基またはこのような基 の組み合わせを含んでもよく; 各Rは、置換または未置換であってもよく、炭素原子2〜約20を含有し、そ の骨格鎖は直鎖、分岐鎖、もしくは十分に長い場合には、環状であっても、また はそれらの組み合わせであってもよく、該骨格鎖は選択的に、該骨格鎖の炭素原 子に結合する1つ以上のカテナリーヘテロ原子を含んでもよいアルキル基または アリール基として独立に互いに選択される) を有する化合物の群から選択される請求項1記載の繊維。 3.該フルオロ脂肪族基を含有する非イオン界面活性剤が1種以上が以下の式 : (Rf−Q)n−Z (式中、 Rfは、完全にフッ素化された少なくとも4つの炭素原子を有し、直鎖、分岐 鎖、もしくは十分に長い場合には、環状であっても、またはそれらの組み合わせ であってもよく、その骨格鎖は、該骨格鎖の炭素原子のみに結合する1つ以上の カテナリーヘテロ原子を含んでもよいフルオロ脂肪族基であり; Qは、Rfを図示する基Zに結合させる手段を提供し、非イオン性水溶化性基 である多価結合基または共有結合で、;Qは、ヘテロ原子を含有する基またはこ のような基の組み合わせを含んでもよく; Zは、ポリ(オキシアルキレン)基、(OR')x(式中、R’は炭素原子数 2〜約4のアルキレン基で、xは約6〜約20の間の数である)を含む非イオン 性水溶化性基で、; nは、1〜6の数である) によるものである請求項1または2記載の繊維。 4.該熱可塑性ポリマーが、通常は疎水性で、ポリオレフィン、ポリアミド、 ポリエステル、ポリウレタンおよびこれらの配合物からなる群から選択され、前 記界面活性剤混合物が、該ポリマーの重量に対して、2重量パーセントまでの量 で存在する請求項1、2または3記載の繊維。 5.請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の繊維を含む布。 6.前記布が不織布ウェブを含む請求項5記載の布。 7.該布が、メルト−ブローンウェブまたはスパン−ボンドウェブを含む請求 項5記載の布。 8.多層水性液体吸収性物品であって: a)水性液体不透過性バッキングシートと; b)水性液体透過性トップシートと; c)前記バッキングシートと前記トップシートとの間に配置された水性液 体吸収層とを備え、 前記トップシートが、恒久的に親水性で、熱可塑性ポリマーと、 (1)フルオロ脂肪族基を含有し、自らの構造中に1つ以上のポリオキシアルキ レン基を有する非イオン界面活性剤1種以上と、 (2)非イオン性であり、フッ素化されておらず、ポリオキシエチレン基を含有 し、20〜80重量パーセントのポリオキシエチレンを含有する界面活性剤1種 以上の混合物とを含み、前記混合物が、該ポリマーに恒久的な親水性を与えるの に十分な濃度で該熱可塑性ポリマー中に存在する、多層水性液体吸収物品。 9.熱可塑性ポリマーと、(a)フルオロ脂肪族基を含有し、自らの構造中に 1つ以上のポリオキシアルキレン基を有する非イオン界面活性剤1種以上と、( 2)非イオン性であり、フッ素化されておらず、ポリオキシエチレン基を含有し 、20〜80重量パーセントのポリオキシエチレンを含有する界面活性剤1種以 上の混合物とを含むフィルムであって:前記混合物が、該熱可塑性繊維に恒久的 な親水性を与えるのに十分な濃度で該フィルム中に存在する、フィルム。 10.恒久的に親水性の繊維を作成する方法であって: (a)熱可塑性ポリマーと、1)フルオロ脂肪族基を含有し、自らの 構造中に1つ以上のポリオキシアルキレン基を有する非イオン界面活性剤1種以 上と、2)非イオン性であり、フッ素化されておらず、ポリオキシエチレン基を 含有し、20〜80重量パーセントのポリオキシエチレンを含有する界面活性剤 1種以上の混合物であって、該ポリマーに恒久的な親水性を与えるのに十分な濃 度で該熱可塑性ポリマー中に存在する前記混合物とを配合するステップと; (b)繊維またはフィルムの表面を恒久的に親水性にするために、該 配合物のメルトを処理して、該繊維またはフィルム内に該界面活性剤を分散させ 、該繊維またはフィルムの表面に該界面活性剤を存在させた該繊維またはフィル ムを製造するステップとを含む、恒久的に親水性の繊維を製造する方法。
