Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.イーサネットコントローラの送信部で使用するためのデータ構造であって、 イーサネットを通じて通信されるべき8ビットバイトのデータの第1の数のロ ケーションと、 通信されるべきデータに関連する8ビットバイトのSTATUS情報を含む第 2の数のロケーションと、 通信されるべきデータに関連する8ビットバイトのDESCRIPTOR情報 を含む第3の数のロケーションとを含む、データ構造。 2.8ビットバイトのデータの第1の数のロケーションは、32ビットの行に編 成され、 第2の数のロケーションは32ビットの行を構成する4つの8ビットバイトに 編成され、 第3の数のロケーションは、32ビットの行を構成する4つの8ビットバイト に編成される、請求項1に記載のイーサネットコントローラの送信部で使用する ためのデータ構造。 3.各行に関連する1ビットのタグフィールドをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の イーサネットコントローラの送信部で使用するためのデータ構造。 4.行に関連する1ビットのタグフィールド内の1は、データの最後のバイトが その行内に含まれることを示す、請求項3に記載のイーサネットコントローラの 送信部で使用するためのデータ構造。 5.1ビットのタグフィールド内の1は、STATUS情報のバイトがデータの 最後のバイトを含む行内のどのバイトがデータの最後のバイトを含むかを示すこ とをさらに示す、請求項4に記載のイーサネットコントローラの送信部で使用す るためのデータ構造。 6.行が連続している、請求項5に記載のイーサネットコントローラの送信部で 使用するためのデータ構造。
