Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. マトリクス支持材と、そのマトリクス支持材に配置され、研磨材である多 数のダイヤモンド粒とを有し、 合金を前記マトリクス支持材及びダイヤモンド粒に溶浸し結合させ、前記合金 が金属合金を有し、その金属合金にはCr、Mn、Si及びAlから選ばれる1 つの元素が2〜50wt%含まれ、且つ実質的にZnが含まれないことを特徴と する研磨工具。 2. 前記マトリクス支持材にはCo、Ni、Fe、Cu、青銅、及びそれらの 混合物又は合金から選ばれるものが50wt%以上含まれることを特徴とする請 求項1に記載の研磨工具。 3. 前記マトリクス支持材及びダイヤモンドの合計体積に対して、前記マトリ クス支持材の体積の割合が前記ダイヤモンドの体積の割合より大きいことを特徴 とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 4. 前記マトリクス支持材及びダイヤモンドの合計体積に対して、前記ダイヤ モンドの体積の割合が40%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨 工具。 5. 前記マトリクス支持材は粒度400U,S,メッシュ以上の粉末からなる ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 6. 前記ダイヤモンド粒が所定のパターンで前記マトリクス支持材に配置され ること特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 7. 前記マトリクス支持材が複数のダイヤモンド含浸シートからなることを特 徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 8. 前記ダイヤモンド含浸シートは金属粉末及びダイヤモンド粒の混合物を圧 延、押出又はドクターブレードすることによって形成されることを特徴とする請 求項7に記載の研磨工具。 9. 前記ダイヤモンド含浸シートは機械的な平坦化方式でダイヤモンド粒を金 属シートに配置させてなることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の研磨工具。 10.前記金属シートはインゴットを圧延してなる又は金属粉末から製作さ れることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の研磨工具。 11.少なくとも1つの前記ダイヤモンド含浸シートには前記合金を溶浸させる ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の研磨工具。 12.前記合金には実質的にZn、Pb、Snから選ばれる少なくとも1つの妨 害金属が含まれないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 13.前記合金にはCr、Mg、Si、Al及びそれらの混合物又は合金から選 ばれるものが3wt%以上含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具 。 14.前記合金はNICROBRAZLM、Cu−Mg合金、Cu−Si合金及 びAl−Si合金から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 15.前記合金は1100℃以下の液相線温度を有することを特徴とする請求項 1に記載の研磨工具。 16.前記マトリクス支持材に複数のスロットが形成されると共に、そのスロッ トに前記ダイヤモンド粒が配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の研磨工 具。 17.前記スロットに配置されるダイヤモンド粒と前記マトリクス支持材とを結 合するための合金が前記スロットに充填されることを特徴とする請求項16に記 載の研磨工具。 18.前記ダイヤモンド粒は並列的に前記マトリクス支持材に配置されると共に 、そのダイヤモンド粒は前記合金によって固定されることを特徴とする請求項1 に記載の研磨工具。 19.前記列は実質的の直線であること特徴とする請求項18に記載の研磨工具 。 20.前記列は曲線であること特徴とする請求項18に記載の研磨工具。 21.前記工具は丸鋸刃である請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 22.前記具は直線状の鋸刃である請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 23.(a)マトリクス支持材を用意する工程、 (b)前記マトリクス支持材に研磨材であるダイヤモンド粒を配置する工程、 及び (c)合金を前記マトリクス支持材に溶浸する工程 を有し、 前記合金にはCr、Mn、Si及びAlから選ばれる1つの元素が2〜50w t%含まれ、且つ実質的にZnが含まれないこと を特徴とするダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 24.前記工程(a)は粒度400U,S,メッシュ以上の粉末からマトリクス 支持材を製作する工程であることを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイヤモンド 含浸工具の製造方法。 25.前記工程(a)は不規則状の粒子からマトリクス支持材を製作する工程で あることを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 26.前記ダイヤモンド粒が所定のパターンで前記マトリクス支持材に配置され ることを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 27.前記合金には実質的にZn、Pb、Snから選ばれる少なくとも1つの妨 害金属が含まれないことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具 の製造方法。 28.前記マトリクス支持材に複数のスロットが形成されると共に、そのスロッ トに前記ダイヤモンド粒が配置されることを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイ ヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 29.更に、前記マトリクス支持材に形成される複数のスロットに合金ろう材を 溶浸させ、前記ダイヤモンド材を前記マトリクス支持材に結合させる工程を含む ことを特徴とする請求項23に記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 30.前記溶浸工程が10-3torr以下の高真空で行うことを特徴とする請求 項23に記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 31.前記合金にはCr、Mg、Si、Al及びそれらの混合物又は合金から選 ばれる炭化物形成剤が5wt%以上含まれることを特徴とする請求項23に記載 のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 32.前記合金はNICROBRAZLM、Cu-Mg合金、Cu−Si合金、 Al−Si合金及びNi−Si合金から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項23に 記載のダイヤモンド含浸工具の製造方法。 33.前記工具はワイヤソーである請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 34.前記工具はダイヤモンドワイヤソーである請求項1に記載の研磨工具。 35.前記ダイヤモンドワイヤソーはスチールケーブルに嵌め込まれる多数のビ ードを含む請求項34に記載の研磨工具。
