Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.アノードセル、アノードセル内のアノードアセンブリーおよびアノードセ ル内の第1溶液電極アセンブリー、 カソードセル、カソードセル内のカソードアセンブリーおよびカソードセル内 の第2溶液電極アセンブリー、 第1溶液電極アセンブリーと第2溶液電極アセンブリーとの間の電気接続、 アノードアセンブリーとカソードアセンブリーとの間の直流電圧源、ならびに 金属リッチな電解液をアノードセルからカソードセルへ移動する手段および金 属濃度の乏しい電解液をカソードセルからアノードセルへ移動する手段 を具備することを特徴とする電気化学的金属回収装置。 2.第1溶液電極アセンブリーと第2溶液電極アセンブリーは共に導電性の壁 を備えている請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 3.第1溶液電極アセンブリーは少なくとも1個のカーボンまたは導電性金属 電極を備え、第2溶液電極アセンブリーは少なくとも1個のカーボンまたは導電 性金属電極を備えている請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 4.アノードセルは一端に貧電解液用接線インレットを、他端に酸化された電 解液用接線アウトレットを有する円筒状延長体を備え、アノードはアノードセル の円筒壁備え、第1溶液電極はアノードセル内で円筒体の軸方向に延びている請 求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 5.カソードセルは一端に金属含有電解液用接線インレットを、他端に貧電解 液を有する円筒状延長体を備え、カソードセルの円筒壁はカソードとカソードセ ル内で円筒体の軸方向に延びている第2溶液電極とを具備している請求項1記載 の電気化学的金属回収装置。 6.カソードは複数の金属ボタンを備え、円筒壁は絶縁材料製である請求項5 記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 7.アノードセルとカソードセルのいずれか一方またはアノードセルとカソー ドセルの双方が内側および外側円筒壁を有しこれらの内側円および外側円筒壁の 間に規定される環状体を備え、外側円筒壁はそれぞれアノードまたはカソード、 内側円筒壁はそれぞれの溶液電極であり、そして電解液接線インレットが環状体 の一方の軸端に設けられ、電解液接線アウトレットが環状体の他方の軸端に設け られている請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 8.装置の容量を増加させるためのもう一つのアノードまたはカソードとして 作用させるためにさらに内側の円筒が付加されている請求項7記載の電気化学的 金属回収装置。 9.アノードセルがタンク、タンク内で垂直に延びている循環チューブ、およ びタンク内を攪拌するために循環チューブの底部に配置されたインペラーを備え 、インペラーはタンク内へのエアーの進入を可能にするための空洞であるインペ ラードライブシャフトを含む請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 10.アノードセルがスラリー反応領域である最下部領域とスラリー遊離領域 である中間領域と電解領域である最上部領域との3領域からなる3領域タンク、 タンク内で電解領域からスラリー反応領域まで垂直に延びている循環チューブ、 およびタンク内を攪拌するために循環チューブの底部に配置されたインペラーを 備え、インペラーはタンク内へのエアーの進入を可能にするための空洞であるイ ンペラードライブシャフトを含み、タンク内ではスラリーと電解液が循環チュー ブに供給され、残渣スラリーがスラリー遊離領域で除去され、かつ濃縮された電 解液が電解領域の頂上のオーバーフロー樋によって除去され、そして電解領域内 でのみ延びているアノードアセンブリーおよび溶液電極を含む請求項1記載の電 気化学的金属回収装置。 11.循環チューブが、スラリー反応領域内のスラリーの循環を可能にする循 環パイプを含む請求項10記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 12.カソードセルが、中央循環トラフの両サイドに配置された多数の個別カ ソードセルを備え、各個別カソードセルは金属板カソードを有し直接隣接する個 別カソードセルと第2溶液電極により分離されており、そして、カソードセル内 の電解液溶液流は基本的に個別カソードセル内のいずれかの側を上へ流れ、個別 カソードセルの頂上を横切って流れ、かつ中央循環トラフに流下するようにセル の底部に広がっている中央循環トラフを下り、機械的攪拌が中央循環トラフ内の 攪拌器により提供される請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 13.カソードセルは金属粉の流動床を備え、この金属粉流動床がその中へ延 びている複数のカソードと第2溶液電極を有する請求項1記載の電気化学的金属 回収装置。 14.金属粉の抽出チューブ、および抽出された粉を粗い生産物と流動床へリ サイクルするための微細物とに分別するスクリーンをさらに備える請求項13記 載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 15.カソードセルの流動金属粉床に接触する部分が導電性金属であり、金属 粉流動床内へ延長する第2溶液電極とともにカソードとして作用する請求項13 記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 16.カソードタンク内に複数のアノードセルを有し、各アノードセルはアノ ードアセンブリーを封入する多孔膜バッグを備え、多孔膜バッグ内の開口の封栓 を避けるようにカソードタンク内の電解液のレベルが各多孔膜バッグ内のスラリ ーのレベルより僅かに高く、そしてカソードアセンブリーがアノードセルの間に 位置している請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 17.金属イオンを有する廃液から金属バリューを回収するために適用される 請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 18.地下鉱石デポジットまたは閉鎖廃坑もしくは廃採掘場から、アノードセ ルに選択的に付加されたエアーを用いる現場抽出によって金属バリューを回収す るために適用される請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 19.金属バリューの破砕堆積物または低品位廃鉱石からアノードセルに選択 的に添加されたエアーを用いて金属バリューを回収するために適用される請求項 1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 20.微細金属化合物のスラリーを攪拌、熱および攪拌用エアーを与えるアノ ードセルに溶解し、金属がカソードセル内で回収される前に金属含有電解液を反 応容器に保持して精製し、金属濃度の乏しい電解液をアノードセルに戻す前に新 たな微細金属化合物を混合して供給する請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置 。 21.アノードセルに選択的に添加されたエアーを用いて酸化された電解液を あふれさせるのに適用されるコンテナーに配置された微粉砕された高品位材料を 回収するために適用され、そしてカソードセルで金属を回収する前に金属リッチ な電解液を精製する請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 22.分離スラリー反応容器を含み、アノードセルに選択的に添加されたエア ーとともに分離スラリー反応容器に金属濃度の乏しい酸化された電解液が供給さ れ、濃縮精製された電解液は金属の析出のためにカソードセルを通過させられる 請求項1記載の電気化学的金属回収装置。 23.酸化物、特にニッケル、コバルトおよび酸化銅鉱石から金属を抽出する ための請求項1〜22のいずれか1つに記載の装置と組み合わせて用いられるア ンモニア、硫化アンモニウムまたは塩化アンモニウム、岩塩、抽出しようとする 金属のイオン、および他のハロゲンイオンまたは臭素化合物等の触媒を含有する アルカリ電解液。 24.金含有材料をタンク内のpH4ないしアルカリ性の塩水に泥化し、アノ ードセルから生成される塩素を吸収するための吸収塔を通過させ、そのようなス ラリーを金を溶解させて約700のレドックスを維持するように運転されている アノードセルを通過させ、金属濃度の乏しいスラリーを液体/固体分離ステージ を通過させ、新たな鉱石またはよりポテンシャルの低い液流の添加により金含有 溶液のレドックスポテンシャルを約500に減少させ、活性炭素上への沈殿また は金アノードセルに接続されたカソードセル内での電解により金を回収し、金含 有量の乏しくなった溶液を泥化タンクにリサイクルする、微細に粉砕した鉱石ま たは先行する電気化学システムの残渣から金を抽出する請求項1の電気化学的金 属回収装置内で金を回収する方法。
