Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 非同期転送モード(ATM)網と、上記網に連結された複数の適応的グル ーミングルーター(AGR)とを含む電気通信システムにおいて、 上記適応的グルーミングルーターは、単一の分散型又はバーチャルトランジッ ト交換機として機能するように適合されたグループを構成し、上記非同期転送モ ード網で狭帯域コネクションを確立するため使用される電気通信システム。 2. 複数のローカル交換機が上記網に連結され、 上記ローカル交換機は上記網へ2重に帰還されている請求項1記載の電気通信 システム。 3. 上記網は上記ローカル交換機から生ずるトラヒックの負荷をバランスさせ る手段を含む請求項2記載の電気通信システム。 4. 上記適応的グルーミングルーターを含む上記バーチャルトランジット交換 機は、独立したコネクション制御機能及び呼ルーチング機能を含む請求項1乃至 3のうちいずれか一項記載の電気通信システム。 5. 上記呼ルーチング機能は、潜在的な音声ルートの選択を行い、上記選択に 優先順位を付けるよう適合されている請求項4記載の電気通信システム。 6. 上記優先順位は、上記潜在的な音声ルートの輻輳の評価に基づいて付けら れる請求項5記載の電気通信システム。 7. 上記コネクション制御機能のサービスの局面とコネクションの局面は分離 され、進歩したサービス及び複数のコネクションモデルの支援が容易に行われる 請求項4乃至6のうちいずれか一項記載の電気通信システム。 8. 上記呼ルーチング機能は、宛先の利用可能性を判定し、上位宛先が利用で きない場合に、上記宛先へのトラヒックをソース側で拒否する手段を含む請求項 5乃至7のうちいずれか一項記載の電気通信システム。 9. 狭帯域マルチキャスト機能を提供する手段を更に有する請求項1乃至8の うちいずれか一項記載の電気通信システム。 10. 音声パスを追跡し、故障復旧を行う手段を更に有する請求項1乃至9の うちいずれか一項記載の電気通信システム。 11. 分散型バーチャルトランジット交換機を含むATM電気通信システムに おいて、 上記システムの現在のトラヒック状態を判定する手段を更に有し、 上記システムで狭帯域トラヒックのルーチングを行うATM電気通信システム 。 12. 割り当てられていない帯域幅を有する非同期転送モード(ATM)網と 、上記網に連結された複数の適応的グルーミングルーター(AGR)とを含む電 気通信システムであって、 上記適応的グルーミングルーターは、ファブリック及び制御がグループ全域に 分散されたバーチャルトランジット交換機として機能するように適合されたグル ープを構成し、 上記AGRを含む上記バーチャルトランジット交換機は、独立し たコネクション制御機能及び呼ルーチング機能を有し、 現在のシステム状態を判定し、判定された状態に基づいて上記非同期転送モー ド網で狭帯域コネクションを確立するため使用される手段を更に有する電気通信 システム。 13. 分散型バーチャルトランジット交換機を含むATM電気通信システムに おいて狭帯域トラヒックをルーチングする方法において、 上記システムの現在のトラヒック状態を判定し、これにより、上記狭帯域トラ ヒックをルーチングすることを特徴とする方法。 14. 割り当てられていない帯域幅を有する非同期転送モード(ATM)網と 、上記網に連結された複数の適応的グルーミングルーター(AGR)とを含むシ ステムにおいて電気通信トラヒックをルーチングする方法であって、 上記適応的グルーミングルーターは、ファブリック及び制御がグループ全域に 分散されたバーチャルトランジット交換機として機能するように適合されたグル ープを構成し、 現在のシステム状態を判定し、判定された状態に基づいて上記非同期転送モー ド網で狭帯域コネクションを確立する段階を含む方法。 15. 複数のローカル交換機が上記網へ2重に帰還されている請求項14記載 の方法。 16. 潜在的な音声ルートの集合がコネクションに対し判定され、 上記ルートの優先順位が上記潜在的な音声ルートの輻輳の評価に基づいて付け られる請求項14又は15記載の方法。 17. 宛先の利用可能性が判定され、 上記宛先が利用できない場合に、上記宛先へのトラヒックはソース側で拒否さ れる請求項16記載の方法。
