Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.通信システムでのターボ符号化方法において、 第1および第2のコンボリューション符号の並列連結を使用して ソース情報をターボ符号化するステップであって、ソース情報に第1のコンボリ ューション符号を適用して第1群の符号ビットを作成する第1の符号化ステップ と、ソース情報をインターリーブした後で該ソース情報に第2のコンボリューシ ョン符号を適用して第2群の符号ビットを作成する第2の符号化ステップとを有 するターボ符号化ステップ、 第1および第2群の符号ビットをパンクチャリングするステップ、 パンクチャリングされた第1および第2群の符号ビットをメモリに記憶するス テップ、 パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビットを通信路を介して 受信器へ送信するステップ、 パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデータ ・サンプルをメモリに記憶するステップ、 前記の第1および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデータ・サンプルを少なくと も2つの復号段でターボ復号し、そして送信されて受信された符号ビットに誤り があるかどうか判定するステップ、並びに 誤りがあった場合、パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビッ トに対応するデータ・サンプルをメモリに保持し、且つ前記の記憶されパンクチ ャリングされた符号ビットの少なくとも所定の部分を受信器へ送信し、次いで、 パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデータ・ サンプルを前記の送信されたパンクチャリングされた符号ビットに対応するデー タ・サンプルと組み合わせることにより少なくとも2つの復号段でターボ復号す るステップ、 を含んでいることを特徴とするターボ符号化方法。 2.パンクチャリングする前記ステップが、所定のパンクチャリング・パター ンに従って符号ビットを除くことから成り、またターボ復号する前記ステップが 、パンクチャリングされたビットに対して中性知を挿入するデパンクチャリング 機 能を有している請求項1記載の方法。 3.前記第1および第2のコンボリューション符号が組織的コンボリューショ ン符号を有している請求項1記載の方法。 4.パンクチャリングする前記ステップが、第1および第2の符号ビットの単 一のコピーを送信することを有し、該コピーが各々のターボ復号段で使用される 請求項3記載の方法。 5.送信されて受信された符号ビットに誤りがあるかどうか判定する前記ステ ップが、16ビット巡回冗長検査符号を有している請求項1記載の方法。 6.送信器および受信器を含む通信システムにおいて、 a)送信器が、 ソース情報をターボ符号化するターボ符号化器であって、第1および第2の コンボリューション符号の並列連結を有し、ソース情報に第1のコンボリューシ ョン符号を適用して第1群の符号ビットを作成し、またソース情報をインターリ ーブした後で該ソース情報に第2のコンボリューション符号を適用して第2群の 符号ビットを作成するターボ符号化器と、 第1および第2群の符号ビットをパンクチャリングするパンクチャリング装 置と、 パンクチャリングされた第1および第2群の符号ビットをメモリに記憶する メモリとを有し、 前記送信器は、パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビット を通信路を介して受信器へ送信し、 b)受信器が、 パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデー タ・サンプルを記憶するメモりと、 前記の第1および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデータ・サンプルを少なくと も2つの復号段でターボ復号し、そして送信されて受信された符号ビットに誤り があるかどうか判定し、誤りがあった場合は、パンクチャリングされてない第1 および第2群の符号ビットに対応するデータ・サンプルをメモリに保持し、且つ 前記の記憶されパンクチャリングされた符号ビットの少なくとも所定の部分の送 信を要求し、次いで、パンクチャリングされてない第1および第2群の符号ビッ トに対応するデータ・サンプルを前記の送信されたパンクチャリングされた符号 ビットに対応するデータ・サンプルと組み合わせることにより少なくとも2つの 復号段でターボ復号するターボ復号器とを有していること、 を特徴とする通信システム。 7.前記パンクチャリング装置が、所定のパンクチャリング・パターンに従っ て符号ビットを除き、また前記ターボ復号器が、パンクチャリングされたビット に対して中性知を挿入する請求項6記載の通信システム。 8.前記第1および第2のコンボリューション符号が組織的コンボリューショ ン符号を有している請求項6記載の通信システム。 9.前記パンクチャリング装置が、第1および第2の符号ビットの単一のコピ ーを送信し、該コピーが各々のターボ復号段で使用される請求項6記載の通信シ ステム。 10.前記復号器が、16ビット巡回冗長検査符号を使用することによって、 送信されて受信された符号ビットに誤りがあるかどうか判定する請求項6記載の 通信システム。
