Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.冷却されたルツボ(10,32)を具備した、絶縁材料のための溶融炉であ って、 前記ルツボは、金属製側壁と、分割されかつ冷却されたボトム(12)と、該 ボトムの下方に配置された少なくとも1つの誘導コイル(28,34)と、を備 えてなり、 前記1つまたは複数の誘導コイルが、唯一の加熱手段をなし、 前記ルツボの前記金属製側壁が、連続体であることを特徴とする溶融炉。 2.前記ルツボ(10,32)内における溶融バスの深さ、および、前記誘導コ イル(28,34)の励起周波数は、前記深さおよび前記ルツボの内部半径が、 前記誘導コイル(28,34)の前記励起周波数に基づく前記バス内での表皮厚 さよりも小さいように、選択されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶融炉 。 3.前記誘導コイル(28,34)の周縁部は、前記ルツボ(10,32)の前 記側壁から離間されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶融炉。 4.前記ボトム(12)は、互いにに並置された複数のチューブから構成されて いることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶融炉。 5.前記チューブは、熱伝導性が良くかつ電気伝導性が悪い材料から形成されて いることを特徴とする請求項4記載の溶融炉。 6.金属製ベース(14)と、金属製蓋(16)と、を具備し、 これらベースおよび蓋は、これらベースおよび蓋が共に前記ルツボ(10,3 2)に対して連結されたときには、前記誘導コイル(28,34)によって生成 される電磁放射を外部環境に漏らさないためのファラデーケージを形成すること を特徴とする請求項1記載の溶融炉。 7.前記ボトムの下方に配置されると共に独立に制御される複数の誘導コイル( 34)を具備していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の溶融炉。 8.形状が矩形であって、前記複数の誘導コイル(34)が、前記矩形形状の長 軸に沿って分散配置されていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の溶融炉。
