Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.被験体の脈管への組成物の持続的脈管内送達方法であって: 被験体に組成物を投与し、 電気穿孔法により脈管に電気インパルスを加える、 ことを含んでなり、このインパルスが脈管の内部の少なくとも1つの細胞の電 気穿孔を引き起こし、その結果、脈管内に組成物が送達され、持続的送達のた めに脈管内で保持されるように、十分な強度および時間のインパルスが与えら れる、上記方法。 2.組成物が全身的または局所的に投与される、請求項1に記載の方法。 3.組成物が抗血栓組成物、抗再狭窄組成物、抗血小板組成物、血小板受容体お よびメディエーターインヒビター、増殖因子インヒビター、抗体、抗炎症組成 物および抗増殖組成物よりなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。 4.組成物がヘパリン、ヒルログ、tPA、ウロキナーゼ、ストレプトキナーゼ 、シクロスポリン、アンチスタチン、およびワーファリンよりなる群から選択 される、請求項3に記載の方法。 5.加えられる電気インパルスが約50〜90ボルトである、請求項1に記載の 方法。 6.加えられる電気インパルスが約100μs〜100msの持続時間を有する 、請求項1に記載の方法。 7.加えられる電気インパルスが約100μs〜1000μsの持続時間を有す る、請求項6に記載の方法。 8.組成物の投与と電気インパルスの適用が実質的に同時である、請求項1に記 載の方法。 9.電気インパルスの適用がカテーテル装置を介して行われる、請求項1に記載 の方法。 10.電気インパルスが矩形波パルス、指数波、時間の限定された単極振動波形、 時間の限定された双極振動波形、または電界を発生する他の波形からなる、請 求項1に記載の方法。 11.電気インパルスが矩形波または指数波パルスからなる、請求項1に記載の方 法。 12.電気インパルスが約1〜100Hzのパルス周波数を有する、請求項1に記載 の方法。 13.約1〜10の電気パルスが加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。 14.細胞への組成物の送達のためにイオントフォレーシスを使用することをさら に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 15.脈管が血管である、請求項1に記載の方法。 16.被験体の脈管の少なくとも1つの細胞へ組成物を導入するための装置であっ て、 少なくとも1つの膨張可能なバルーン部分を有するカテーテル; 被験体に組成物を導入するための少なくとも1つの注入通路; 少なくとも1つの注入通路に隣接して配置された第1の電極; 脈管中の少なくとも1つの細胞の電気穿孔を引き起こすのに十分な電界を発 生し、それにより少なくとも1つの注入通路を通して組成物を導入した後に、 組成物が少なくとも1つの細胞に入ることを可能にするように、第1の電極と 被験体に対して配置された第2の電極; を含んでなる上記装置。 17.少なくとも1つの細胞の電気穿孔を引き起こすのに十分な量で電極間に電圧 を加えるための第1および第2の電極に接続された電源をさらに含む、請求項 16に記載の装置。 18.脈管が血管である、請求項16に記載の装置。 19.第1の電極が少なくとも部分的には生物学的に不活性な材料により形成され る、請求項16に記載の装置。 20.第2の電極がカテーテル内のガイドワイアである、請求項16に記載の装置 。 21.第2の電極が被験体と接触して配置される形状の銀プレートである、請求項 16に記載の装置。
