Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 内部空間を規定し、被酸化性有機化合物を含有する内部酸素捕獲成分を有 する容器を用意する工程、及び 該酸素捕獲成分を活性化するために充分な化学線の線量を与えるような波長、 強度及び滞留時間で、該酸素捕獲成分を、該内部空間内に配置された、化学線の 線源に曝露する工程からなる、容器の酸素捕獲成分の作動化方法。 2. 該化学線の線源がUV−C光の光源であり、該曝露工程が、該酸素捕獲成 分を、少なくとも100mJ/cm2の該光源からのUV−C光の線量に曝露す ることからなる、請求項1記載の方法。 3. 該曝露工程が、該酸素捕獲成分を、350mJ/cm2〜600mJ/c m2のUV−C光の線量に曝露することからなる、請求項2記載の方法。 4. 該波長が200nm〜280nmの間である、請求項2記載の方法。 5. 該波長が殺菌性波長である、請求項2記載の方法。 6. 該曝露工程が、該酸素捕獲成分を、少なくとも0.8m W/cm2の強度で該化学線の線源に曝露することからなる、請求項1記載の方 法。 7. 該曝露工程が、該酸素捕獲成分を、3〜10mW/cm2の強度で該化学 線の線源に曝露することからなる、請求項1記載の方法。 8. 該被酸化性有機化合物が少なくとも1000の分子量を有し、置換された エチレン性不飽和炭化水素ポリマー、置換されないエチレン性不飽和炭化水素ポ リマー及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。 9. 該容器が、ゲーブル・トップ・カートン、無菌カートン、コンポジット缶 及び予備成形ポーチからなる群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。 10. それぞれ内部空間を規定し、被酸化性有機化合物を含有する内部酸素捕 獲成分を有する容器を用意する工程、 化学線の線源を、該容器の該内部空間内に配置する工程、 該酸素捕獲成分を、それぞれ活性化された酸素捕獲成分を有する容器を与える ように、該化学線の線源からの化学線の線量に曝露する工程、及び その中で該酸素捕獲成分が該内部空間から酸素を捕獲する、 密封された容器を与えるように、該容器を、該容器を充填し、密封するための手 段に供給する工程からなる、酸素感受性材料の包装方法。 11. 更に、該化学線の線源を、該曝露工程の後で該内部空間から取り出す工 程からなる、請求項10記載の方法。 12. 該配置工程が、該化学線を放出するための少なくとも1個の実質的に直 線状のバルブを用意し、該バルブを該内部空間内に配置することからなる、請求 項10記載の方法。 13. 該配置工程が、該化学線を放出するための実質的に平行な直線状のバル ブの列を用意し、該列を複数個の容器に対して配置して、該バルブを該容器の内 部空間内に配置する工程からなる、請求項10記載の方法。 14. 該配置工程が、回転可能なハブから半径方向に延びている、該化学線を 放出するための複数個の実質的に直線状のバルブを用意し、該ハブを回転させて 、載荷ステーション及び排出ステーションで各バルブを連続的に配置し、該バル ブが該内部空間内に位置するように、該載荷ステーションで容器を該バルブの上 に載せる工程からなり、そして該曝露工程を、該バルブを該排出ステーションの 方に前進させながら実施する、請求 項10記載の方法。 15. 酸素感受性材料を含有するための内部空間を規定する容器の酸素捕獲成 分の作動化装置であって、 被酸化性有機化合物を含有する酸素捕獲成分を活性化するために充分な化学線 を放出する手段、 該放出する手段に対して、該放出する手段を該容器の該内部空間内に配置し、 それによって該内部酸素捕獲成分が、該放出する手段からの化学線の実質的に均 一な線量に曝露されるように、内部空間を規定し、酸素捕獲成分を有する容器を 配置する手段からなる装置。 16. 更に、該放出する手段に対して容器を支持する手段を含み、該配置する 手段が、該放出する手段及び該支持する手段の少なくとも一方を、該放出する手 段及び該支持する手段の他方に対して配置して、該支持する手段上に支持された 容器の該内部空間内に、該放出する手段を配置するようにする手段からなる、請 求項15記載の装置。 17. 該放出する手段が、該化学線を放出するための少なくとも1個の実質的 に直線状のバルブからなり、該支持する手段が、該少なくとも1個の実質的に直 線状のバルブに対して実質 的に垂直である通路に沿って、容器を輸送するためのコンベヤー手段からなり、 該配置する手段が、該少なくとも1個の実質的に直線状のバルブに対して実質的 に平行である方向に、該放出する手段及び該支持する手段の少なくとも一方を配 置して、少なくとも1個の実質的に直線状のバルブを、該支持する手段の上に支 持された容器の該内部空間内に配置するようにする手段からなる、請求項15記 載の装置。 18. 該放出するための手段が、該化学線を放出する複数個の実質的に直線状 のバルブからなり、該バルブが、支持部材上に実質的に平行に配列され、該配置 する手段が、該支持部材を、該実質的に直線状のバルブに対して実質的に平行で ある方向で、該支持する手段の方へ及びそれから離れるように移動させる手段か らなる、請求項15記載の装置。 19. 該放出する手段が、回転可能なハブから半径方向に延びている複数個の 実質的に直線状のバルブからなり、更に、容器を該バルブの1個のバルブの上に 載荷するための載荷ステーション及び容器を該バルブから排出するための排出ス テーションからなり、該ハブが、各バルブを該載荷ステーション及び該排出ステ ーションで連続的に配置するように回転可能であり、 該配置する手段が、該バルブが該載荷ステーションで該内部空間内になるように 容器を該バルブの上に配置する手段からなる、請求項15記載の装置。 20. 酸素捕獲成分が、被酸化性有機化合物及び遷移金属触媒からなる、請求 項1記載の方法。 21. 該遷移金属触媒が、コバルトの遷移金属塩、マンガンの遷移金属塩及び これらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項20記載の方法。 22. 酸素捕獲成分が、被酸化性有機化合物及び遷移金属触媒からなる、請求 項10記載の方法。 23. 酸素捕獲成分が、被酸化性有機化合物及び遷移金属触媒からなる、請求 項15記載の装置。
