Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.粒子加速装置において使用するためのサンプル供給モジュールにおいて、 当該サンプル記載モジュールが: (a)粒子カートリッジを受容しかつ維持するように形作られるカートリッジ 室を備え、その際当該カートリッジ室が上流末端部および下流末端部を有してお り; (b)上流末端部および下流末端部を有している出口ノズルを備え; (c)前記カートリッジ室と前記出口ノズルとの間に配置される粒子加速通路 を備え、その際当該加速通路が前記カートリッジ室の前記下流末端部および前記 出口ノズルの前記上流末端部と流体連通しており;そして (d)前記サンプル供給モジュールを推進力源に結合するための固定手段を備 え、その際当該固定手段が連係する推進力源と前記カートリッジ室の前記上流末 端部をインターフェイスすることを特徴とするサンプル供給モジュール。 2.前記出口ノズルが円錐状であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載 のサンプル供給モジュール。 3.前記出口ノズルの前記下流末端部がその上流末端部より大きい直径を有し 、かつ更にその際前記出口ノズルの前記上流および下流末端部間の距離が前記下 流末端部の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項に記載のサンプル 供給モジュール。 4.前記サンプル供給モジュールが、更に、前記出口ノズルの前記下流末端部 から延びている複数のスペーサ脚部からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項 に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 5.前記サンプル供給モジュールが重合材料から構成されることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第1項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 6.前記重合材料が熱可塑性樹脂であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第5項に 記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 7.前記サンプル供給モジュールが単一粒子供給運転に向けられることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第6項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 8.前記重合材料がポリカーボネートまたはポリプロピレンであることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第5項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 9.前記サンプル供給モジュールが多重粒子供給運転に向けられることを特徴 とする請求の範囲第8項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 10.請求の範囲第1項に記載されたサンプル供給モジュールからなる無菌の 、密封された容器。 11.前記固定手段が前記サンプル供給モジュールと関連の推進力源との間の 、正の圧力密閉結合を備えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項に記載のサ ンプル供給モジュール。 12.前記固定手段が関連の推進力源上の迅速接続取り付け具と協働するよう になされることを特徴とする請求の範囲第11項に記載のサンプル供給モジュー ル。 13.前記固定手段が関連の推進力源上の歯止めカプラと協働する環状溝から なることを特徴とする請求の範囲第12項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 14.前記サンプル供給モジュールが、更に、生物学的材料で被覆された担体 粒子を収容する凹状サンプルカートリッジからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲 第1項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 15.前記サンプルカートリッジが管状であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 14項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 16.前記加速通路が前記管状サンプルカートリッジの直径より小さいことを 特徴とする請求の範囲第15項に記載のサンプル供給モジュール。 17.(a)機器本体と、(b)サンプル供給モジュールとを備え、前記機器 本体がそれを貫通しかつ圧縮ガス源に結合するための第1末端部およびサンプル 供給モジュールに結合するための第2末端部を有する導管からなり、その際前記 機器本体が更に前記導管を通ってガスの流れを解放するための作動手段を含み; そして 前記サンプル供給モジュールが、(i)粒子カートリッジを受容し、かつ維持 するように形作られるカートリッジ室を有し、その際前記カートリッジ室が上流 末端部と下流末端部を有し、(ii)上流末端部および下流末端部を有する出口 ノズルを有し、(iii)前記カートリッジ室と前記出口ノズルとの間に配置さ れる粒子加速通路を有し、その際この粒子加速通路が前記カートリッジ室の前記 下流末端部および前記出口ノズルの前記上流末端部と流体連通しており、そして (iv)前記サンプル供給モジュールを前記機器本体に結合するための固定手段 を有し、この固定手段が前記カートリッジ室の前記上流末端部を前記機器本体導 管の前記第2末端部とインターフェイスすることを特徴とする粒子加速装置。 18.前記作動手段が前記導管の前記第1および第2末端部の間で前記機器本 体に配置されかつ前記導管を通るガスの通過を制御する弁からなることを特徴と する請求の範囲第17項に記載の粒子加速装置。 19.前記作動手段が前記機器本体導管の前記第1および第2末端部の間で前 記機器本体導管内に配置される破壊可能な薄膜からなることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第17項に記載の粒子加速装置。 20.前記出口ノズルの前記下流末端部が、その上流末端部より大きい直径を 有し、そして更に、前記出口ノズルの前記上流および下流末端部の間の距離が前 記下流末端部の直径より大きいことを特徴とする請求の範囲第17項に記載の粒 子加速装置。
