Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.a) 基端及び末端と、末端に延在する内部管腔と、内部管腔と伝達状態にあ る開口部を有する末端セクションと、開口した末端セクションの少なくとも1部 分を支持する支持手段とを有する細長い送出部材と、 b)その末端上に複数の電極を有する送出部材の内部管腔内に配置され、開口した 末端セクション内に配置され、それらの末端によって電極と電気的に接続され、 それらの基端によって電気コネクタ手段と電気的に接続される基端及び末端を持 った電導体を有する細長い電気生理学デバイスと、 を備える、患者の心臓内に傷を形成するための血管内アセンブリー。 2.末端セクションは患者の心臓チャンバー内に入ること及び位置決めすること が容易になる形状であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 3.末端セクション内の支持手段は、金属的なリボンであることを特徴とする請 求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 4.金属的なリボンは、末端セクションにおいて開口部と面する平らな表面を有 することを特徴とする請求項3記載の血管内アセンブリー。 5.電気生理学デバイスの末端上にある電極は、直径が1.35mmより大きく ないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 6.露出している末端セクションの長さを制御するために、送出部材のまわりに 配置した縦方向に可動のさやを含んでいる請求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 7.外側のさやは、カーブした末端を有することを特徴とする請求項6記載の血 管内アセンブリー。 8.流体源とEPデバイスの末端セクション上に延在する末端とに接続されるよ うに構成した基端を有するEPデバイスのまわりに配置した縦方向に可動のさや を含む請求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 9.少なくとも細長い送出部材の末端セクション内にあって、細長い送出部材の 末端における放出ポートまで延在する第2の内部管腔を含む請求項1記載の血管 内アセンブリー。 10.第2の内部管腔は、細長い送出部材の基端から末端まで延在することを特 徴とする請求項9の血管内アセンブリー。 11.細長い送出部材は、末端セクション上に少なくとも1つの電極を備えてい ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管内アセンブリー。 12.細長い送出部材の末端セクションは、冷却流体をアセンブリーの末端に送 出するための管腔を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管内アセンブ リー。 13.冷却流体を送出するための管腔は、アセンブリーの基端に延在することを 特徴とする請求項12の血管内アセンブリー。 14.多アームのアダプターは、冷却流体を送出するための送出アセンブリーの 内部管腔と流体伝達状態にある内部管腔を持ったアームを有するアセンブリーの 基端上にあることを特徴とする請求項3記載の血管内アセンブリー。 15.a)基端及び末端と、その中に延在する内部管腔とを有する細長い軸と、 b)1.65mm未満の最大外寸法と、外側部上に縦方向に配置されるとともに、 電極長さより大きくない隣接電極との相互電極間隔を有する複数の電極と、個々 の電極とそれぞれ電気的に接続される個々に絶縁された複数の電導体とを有する 末端の軸セクションと、 c)電導体の基端と電気的に接続された電気コネクタ手段と、 を備える、患者の心臓内に使用するためのEP型カテーテル。 16.細長い軸の内部管腔内に延在しているコア部材を含む請求項18記載のE P型カテーテル。 17.電導体はコア部材のまわりに配置されている請求項19記載のEP型カテ ーテル。 18.電導体は、末端の軸セクションの外壁の少なくとも1部分を形成すること を特徴とする請求項20記載のEP型カテーテル。 19.電気コネクタ手段は、高周波の電気エネルギー源と電気的に接続されるこ とを特徴とする請求項18記載のEP型カテーテル。 20.電極長さは約2mm〜約4mmであることを特徴とする請求項18記載の EPデバイス。 21.電極は、隣接した電極から約1mm〜約3mmの距離で、縦方向に間隔が あいていることを特徴とする請求項18記載のEPデバイス。
