Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.源ビデオ用の可視索引を作成するシステムにおいて、 前記源ビデオからフレームを抽出するフレーム抽出器と、 前記フレームをDCT係数のマクロブロックに変換するDCTマクロブロッ ク形成器と、 前記DCT係数のマクロブロックに基づいて、重要な情景を検出すると共に 、検出された各重要情景に対してキーフレームを選択する重要情景プロセッサ と、 前記選択されたキーフレームのフィルタリングを行って可視索引を作成する キーフレームフィルタ器と、 前記可視索引を記憶する記憶媒体と、 を有することを特徴とする可視索引を作成するシステム。 2.源ビデオ用の可視索引を作成するシステムにおいて、 前記源ビデオからフレームを抽出するフレーム抽出器と、 前記フレームをDCT係数のマクロブロックに変換するDCTマクロブロッ ク形成器と、 前記DCT係数のマクロブロックに基づき前記フレームをフィルタして、可 視索引を作成するキーフレームフィルタ器と、 前記可視索引を記憶する記憶媒体と、 を有することを特徴とする可視索引を作成するシステム。 3.圧縮された源ビデオ用の可視索引を作成するシステムにおいて、 前記圧縮された源ビデオをフレーム及びDCTマクロブロックに変換するデ コーダと、 前記フレームと前記DCTマクロブロックとに基づいて、重要な情景を検出 すると共にキーフレームを選択する重要情景プロセッサと、 前記DCT係数のマクロブロックに基づき前記キーフレームをフィルタして 、可視索引を作成するキーフレームフィルタ器と、 前記可視索引を記憶する記憶媒体と、 を有することを特徴とする可視索引を作成するシステム。 4.請求項1又は3に記載のシステムにおいて、前記重要情景プロセッサがビデ オカットと静止情景の少なくとも一方を検出することを特徴とするシステム 。 5.請求項1,2又は3に記載のシステムにおいて、前記キーフレームフィルタ 器が単色フレームをフィルタ除去することを特徴とするシステム。 6.請求項1,2又は3に記載のシステムにおいて、前記キーフレームフィルタ 器が同一の対象物を画像の主要焦点又は主要焦点の1つとして有しているよ うなキーフレームをフィルタ除去することを特徴とするシステム。 7.ビデオ保管及び検索用のシステムにおいて、 記憶された又は同時に記録される源ビデオに基づいてキーフレームの可視索 引を作成するビデオ保管装置と、 ディスプレイ上への表示、キーフレームへの手動又は自動送り、及び前記可 視索引の印刷の少なくとも1つを行うために前記可視索引を取り出すビデオ検 索装置と、 を有していることを特徴とするシステム。 8.請求項7に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ビデオ保管装置が、 重要な情景を検出すると共に、これら重要情景を表すキーフレームを選択す る重要情景プロセッサと、 前記キーフレームをフィルタして前記可視索引を作成するキーフレームフィ ルタ器と、 を有することを特徴とするシステム。 9.請求項8に記載のシステムにおいて、 前記重要情景プロセッサが、重要な情景を検出し及びキーフレームを選択す るために代表的な値を使用し、 前記キーフレームフィルタ器が前記キーフレームをフィルタし及び前記可視 索引を作成するために代表的な値を使用する、 ことを特徴とするシステム。
