Abstract
【解決手段】 リチウム塩、マンガン塩およびニッケル塩を蒸溜水に溶解して水溶液を製造するステップと、得られた水溶液を加熱してゲルを形成するステップと、形成されたゲルを燃焼させて酸化物粉末を製造するステップと、酸化物粉末を1次熱処理した後、粉砕するステップと、粉砕物を2次熱処理した後、粉砕するステップとを含むLi[NiXLi(1/3-2X/3)Mn(2/3-X/3)]O2(0.05<X<0.6)組成のリチウム二次電池用リチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。

Description
CH3CO2Li・2H2Oと、(CH3CO2)2Mn・4H2Oと、Ni(NO3)2・6H2Oとを、あらかじめ定められた組成比において蒸溜水に溶解させた。
反応剤による代表的な質量比は表1の通りである。
100mlの蒸溜水に、10.20gのCH3CO2Li・2H2Oと、12.25gの(CH3CO2)2Mn・4H2Oと、8.72gのNi(NO3)2・6H2Oとを溶解させた。
Claims (9)
- リチウム塩、マンガン塩およびニッケル塩を蒸溜水に溶解して水溶液を製造するステップと、
得られた水溶液を加熱してゲルを形成するステップと、
形成されたゲルを燃焼させて酸化物粉末を製造するステップと、
前記粉末を1次熱処理した後、粉砕して粉砕物を得るステップと、
前記粉砕物を2次熱処理した後、粉砕するステップと
を含むLi[NiXLi(1/3-2X/3)Mn(2/3-X/3)]O2(0.05<X<0.6)組成のリチウム二次電池用リチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。 - 前記リチウム塩、マンガン塩およびニッケル塩は、水溶性塩であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。
- 前記リチウム塩にはCH3CO2Li・2H2O、前記マンガン塩には(CH3CO2)2Mn・4H2O、前記ニッケル塩にはNi(NO3)2・6H2Oを用いることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。
- 前記ゲルの燃焼は、400ないし500℃で行なうことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。
- 前記1次熱処理は、400ないし500℃で行なうことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。
- 前記2次熱処理は、700ないし1000℃で行なうことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。
- CH3CO2Li・2H2O、(CH3CO2)2Mn・4H2OおよびNi(NO3)2・6H2Oを蒸溜水に溶解して水溶液を製造するステップと、
得られた水溶液を100℃以上に加熱してゲルを形成するステップと、
形成されたゲルを燃焼させて酸化物粉末を製造するステップと、
前記粉末を1次熱処理した後、粉砕して粉砕物を得るステップと、
前記粉砕物を700ないし1000℃で2次熱処理した後、粉砕するステップと
を含むことを特徴とするLi[NiXLi(1/3-2X/3)Mn(2/3-X/3)]O2(0.05<X<0.6)組成のリチウム二次電池用リチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物の製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の方法により製造されたLi[NiXLi(1/3-2X/3)Mn(2/3-X/3)]O2(0.05<X<0.6)組成のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物。
- 請求項8に記載のLi[NiXLi(1/3-2X/3)Mn(2/3-X/3)]O2(0.05<X<0.6)組成のリチウム−マンガン−ニッケル複合酸化物を含むことを特徴とするリチウム二次電池。
