Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to a multi-layer injection molding method, and more particularly to a multi-layer injection molding method for forming a receiving port to which a synthetic resin pipe for water distribution or gas is joined.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 11 shows an example of a conventional synthetic resin electric fusion socket. When manufacturing the electrofusion receiving port 1, first, for example, an inner layer 1a is formed, and a heating wire 1b is attached to the inner layer 1a. Then, the outer layer 1c is injection-molded so as to cover the outer surface of the inner layer 1a on which the heating wire 1b is mounted. The heating wire 1b is connected to terminals 1d, 1d.
[0003]
However, in the electrofusion receiving port 1 shown in FIG. 11, a boundary portion 2 between the inner layer 1a and the outer layer 1c is caused by a difference in shrinkage due to a difference in thickness between the inner layer 1a and the outer layer 1c and a residual strain of each layer 1a, 1c. May be separated to form a gap 2a between the two layers 1a and 1c. Since the gap 2a is exposed on the inner peripheral surface 1e of the receiving port 1, water or the like in the pipes 3, 3 may enter the gap 2a and move as indicated by an arrow 2b. As a result, water may leak to the outside through an insertion hole (not shown) of the terminal 1d communicating with the gap 2a. Therefore, there are methods shown in FIGS. 12 to 15 as measures for preventing water leakage.
[0004]
The electrofusion receiving port 4 shown in FIG. 12 is formed so that the inner layer 4a covers the entire inner surface of the outer layer 4b (for example, see Patent Document 1). The edges 5a and 5b of the boundary portion 5 between the inner layer 4a and the outer layer 4b are not exposed on the inner surface of the receptacle 4, but are exposed on both end faces of the receptacle 4. As a result, water in the pipe 3 does not enter through the edges 5a and 5b of the boundary portion 5, so that water leakage from the insertion hole of the terminal 1d can be prevented.
[0005]
In the electrofusion receiving port 6 shown in FIG. 14, one edge 7a of a boundary portion 7 between the inner layer 6a and the outer layer 6b is exposed on the inner surface (water contact portion) 6c of the receiving port 6. 7a is thermally fused to form a fused portion 7b. As described above, since the edge 7a of the boundary portion 7 is thermally fused and the gap of the boundary portion 7 is closed, it is possible to prevent the edge 7a from peeling off. Thereby, water leakage from the insertion hole of the terminal 1d can be prevented.
[0006]
In the electrofusion receiving port 8 shown in FIG. 15, one edge 9 a of the boundary portion 9 between the inner layer 8 a and the outer layer 8 b is exposed on the inner surface (water contact portion) 8 c of the receiving port 8. A seal groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the end where the edge 9a is formed, and a seal member (for example, an O-ring) 9b is mounted in the seal groove. The boundary portion 9 is sealed by the seal member 9b, thereby preventing water leakage from the insertion hole of the terminal 1d.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the electrofusion port 4 shown in FIG. 12, when the end of the synthetic resin pipe 3 is butt-joined to the end 4c of the small-diameter portion of the port 4, a cavity is formed in the joint. Sometimes. As a result, sufficient bonding strength may not be obtained. When butt-joining the end 4c of the receptacle 4 and the pipe end, first, as shown in FIG. 13A, the end face of the end 4c of the receptacle 4 is formed flat. Then, the end 4c is heated and melted. Then, as shown in FIG. 13B, the edges 5a and 5a of the boundary portion 5 between the inner layer 4a and the outer layer 4b may peel off. When the end 4c of the socket 4 from which the edge 5a is peeled off and the tube end heated and melted are press-bonded, as shown in FIG. 13C, a cavity 5c is formed in the joint. As a result, there is a problem that a sufficient bonding strength cannot be obtained as described above.
[0009]
The electrofusion receiving port 6 shown in FIG. 14 requires a post-process of heat-sealing the edges 7a of the inner layer 6a and the outer layer 6b, which is troublesome and increases costs. Since only the edge 7a of the boundary portion 7 is thermally fused, the fusion area is small, and therefore, sufficient fusion strength cannot be obtained. Since sufficient fusion strength cannot be obtained, water leakage cannot be reliably prevented.
[0010]
In the electrofusion receiving port 8 shown in FIG. 15, the cost of the seal member 9b increases, and it takes time to mount the seal member 9b in the seal groove. Since the outer layer 8b is merely attached by injection molding to the outer surface of the inner layer 8a and is not fused, the bonding strength (peeling strength) between the outer layer 8b and the inner layer 8a is relatively small. Therefore, the end of the inner layer 8a where the seal member 9b is mounted may peel off from the outer layer 8b, and water leakage cannot be reliably prevented.
[0011]
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Therefore, a main object of the present invention is to provide a multilayer injection molding method capable of joining an inner layer and an outer layer with sufficient strength and reliably sealing a boundary between the inner layer and the outer layer.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, there are provided (a) an inner layer made of a synthetic resin having at least one protrusion with a sharp end formed on an outer surface, (b) mounting an inner mold on the inner surface of the inner layer, and (c) forming an inner layer on the outer surface of the inner layer. (D) A multi-layer injection molding method in which an outer mold is arranged so as to form spaced cavities, and (d) molten synthetic resin of the same type as the inner layer is injected into the cavities.
[0013]
[Action]
According to the present invention, the same kind of molten synthetic resin as the inner layer (hereinafter simply referred to as “molten resin”) is filled in a cavity formed between the outer surface of the inner layer made of synthetic resin and the inner surface of the outer mold. The outer layer can be formed on the outer surface of the inner layer by injection filling. When the molten resin is injected and filled in the cavity, the tips of the protrusions formed in the inner layer are melted by the heat of the molten resin. The molten resin in the cavity and the molten resin at the tip of the projection are mixed with each other by the injection pressure, and when the molten resin is solidified in this state, the projection and the outer layer are fused and integrated to form an inner layer. And the outer layer are firmly fusion bonded.
[0014]
In addition, for example, when a receiving port is formed using the multilayer injection molding method of the present invention, if the projection is formed in a ring shape over the entire outer surface of the inner layer, the protrusion and the inner surface of the outer layer are melted over the entire circumference of the inner layer. It can be bonded and joined. Thereby, at the boundary between the outer surface of the inner layer and the inner surface of the outer layer, the sealing performance between the distal end side and the back side of the receptacle can be ensured by the fused portion of the annular projection.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the outer layer formed by solidifying the molten resin in the cavity and the projection formed on the inner layer are fused and integrated, so that the inner layer and the outer layer can be firmly fusion bonded. it can. Therefore, the inner layer and the outer layer do not separate at the fused portion. Therefore, according to the multilayer injection molding method of the present invention, it is possible to improve the quality of the bonding strength between the outer layer and the inner layer, and it is possible to eliminate the variation in the quality. Further, since the tip of the projection of the inner layer is melted by the heat of the molten resin injected into the cavity, an operation for heating and melting the tip of the projection is unnecessary, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0016]
In the case of forming a socket, for example, using the multilayer injection molding method of the present invention, if the projection is formed in a ring shape over the entire outer surface of the inner layer, the protrusion may be formed at the boundary between the outer surface of the inner layer and the inner surface of the outer layer. In addition, the sealability between the distal end side and the back side of the receptacle can be sufficiently ensured by the fused portion of the annular projection.
[0017]
Therefore, even when the edge of the boundary between the inner layer and the outer layer is formed so as to be exposed on the inner surface (for example, the water contact portion) of the receptacle, it is possible to reliably prevent the fluid in the receptacle from leaking out of the receptacle. it can. Then, the edge of the boundary between the inner layer and the outer layer is formed so as to be exposed on the inner surface of the socket, and the edge of the boundary is not exposed at the end of the socket. When the pipe ends are butt-joined to each other, a hollow portion as shown in FIG. 13C is not formed in the joint portion, and sufficient joining strength can be obtained.
[0018]
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description of embodiments with reference to the drawings.
[0019]
【Example】
A first embodiment of the multilayer injection molding method according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The multi-layer injection molding method of the first embodiment is a method of injection-molding an electrofusion receiving port 10 made of a synthetic resin shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 2, the end of the short cylindrical small-diameter portion 12 is butt-joined to the end of the straight pipe 14, and for example, the electrofusion receiving port 10 is, as shown in FIG. Hereinafter, it may be simply referred to as “one-sided straight pipe”.) 16 is formed. This one-side receiving straight pipe 16 can form a pipe by joining the spigot 14a of the straight pipe 14 to the receiving port 10 of the other one-side receiving straight pipe 16 by welding in order. it can. This pipeline is used, for example, as a pipeline for water distribution or a pipeline for gas. The electrofusion receiving port 10 and the straight pipe 14 are made of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutene.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 1, the electrofusion receiving port 10 includes an inner layer 18 and an outer layer 20, and the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 are formed of the same type, for example, polyethylene. The straight pipe 14 is also formed of the same type of polyethylene as the inner layer 18 and the like.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 1, the inner layer 18 has a substantially short cylindrical joining portion 22 and a parallel portion 24 sequentially formed from the distal end side of the receiving port 10 toward the back side. A spiral groove 28 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the joint portion 22, and a heating element 30 is wound in a coil shape in the groove 28. The heating element 30 is made of, for example, a stainless steel wire or a nichrome wire. Both ends of the heating element 30 are connected to pins 32, 32 protruding from the outer surface of the outer layer 20. The joint 22 has an inner diameter that is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the spigot 14a of the straight pipe 14, and is formed so that the spigot 14a of the straight pipe 14 can be inserted into the joint 22 to perform electro-fusion bonding. Have been. The inner diameter of the parallel part 24 is smaller than the inner diameter of the joint part 22 and is formed to be substantially the same as the inner diameter of the straight pipe 14. Therefore, a step portion 34 is formed at the boundary between the joint portion 22 and the parallel portion 24. As shown in FIG. 2, the spigot 14a of the straight pipe 14 is inserted into and joined to the receptacle 10 until the spigot 14a hits the step 34.
[0022]
As shown in FIG. 3, two annular projections 36 are formed on the outer surface formed in the tapered shape at the far end of the parallel portion 24 over the entire circumference thereof. As shown in the enlarged cross-sectional view of FIG. 7B, each of the protrusions 36 has its tip fused and integrated with the inner surface of the outer layer 20, whereby the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 are firmly connected. Fusion bonding. The fused portion 42 is formed over the entire outer surface of the inner layer 18. However, in a state before the respective tips are fused to the inner surface of the outer layer 20, the projections 36 have an acute angle θ1 at the tips and a substantially triangular cross section, as shown in FIG. It is formed in a shape. This angle θ1 is preferably 15 ° to 60 °, and in this embodiment, is formed at about 30 °.
[0023]
As shown in FIG. 1, the outer layer 20 has a large diameter portion 38, a tapered portion 40, and a small diameter portion 12, each of which has a substantially short cylindrical shape, formed in this order from the distal end side of the receptacle 10 to the back side. The large diameter portion 38 and the tapered portion 40 of the outer layer 20 cover the inner layer 18 in a state where their inner surfaces are in close contact with the outer surfaces of the joint portion 22 and the parallel portion 24 of the inner layer 18. The inner surface of the tapered portion 40 of the outer layer 20 is fusion-bonded to the tip of each protrusion 36 formed on the inner layer 18 as described above. The inner diameter of the small-diameter portion 12 of the outer layer 20 is formed to be substantially the same as the inner diameter of the parallel portion 24 of the inner layer 18, that is, the inner diameter of the straight pipe 14. Two short cylindrical protrusions 44 are formed on the outer surface of the large diameter portion 38, and each pin 32 is accommodated inside each protrusion 44.
[0024]
As shown in FIG. 2, the end portion of the small-diameter portion 12 is butt-joined to the end of the straight pipe 14 to form an electrofusion port piece receiving straight pipe 16. .
[0025]
Next, a procedure for forming the electrofusion receiving port 10 shown in FIG. 1 by using a multilayer injection molding method will be described with reference to FIGS. First, as shown in FIG. 4A, a left inner mold 46, a right inner mold 48, an inner outer upper mold 50, and an inner lower mold 52 for injection molding the inner layer 18 are prepared and assembled. In this manner, the inner layer cavity 54 is formed in a state where the molds 46 and the like are assembled. The inner layer cavity 54 has a shape corresponding to the inner layer 18.
[0026]
The left inner die 46 includes a flange portion 46a and a columnar portion 46b. The outer peripheral surface 46c of the columnar portion 46b has a shape corresponding to the inner surface 18a of the inner layer 18, and the distal end portion 46d is formed to have a length protruding toward the right inner mold 48 from the inner layer cavity 54. I have. The tip portion 46d is formed in a short column shape. A corner 56 at which the surfaces of the flange 46a and the column 46b intersect has a shape corresponding to the opening edge of the inner layer 18.
[0027]
The right inner mold 48 includes a flange portion 48a and a column portion 48b. The cylindrical portion 48b is formed to have a length such that the distal end thereof contacts the distal end 46d of the left inner mold 46. The diameter of the cylindrical portion 48b and the distal end 46d of the cylindrical portion 46b is substantially the same as the inner diameter of the small diameter portion 12 of the receptacle 10 shown in FIG.
[0028]
The upper and outer molds 50 for the inner layer and the lower outer mold 52 for the inner layer have a half-split structure. As shown in FIG. 4 (A), in an assembled state, the respective inner surfaces 50a and 52a are outside the inner layer 18. It has a shape corresponding to the surface 18b.
[0029]
As shown in FIG. 4B, two annular projections 36 formed on the inner layer 18 are formed on the inner surfaces 50a, 52a of the upper and outer dies 50 for the inner layer and the lower and outer dies 52 for the inner layer. Annular grooves 58 are formed. The angle of the bottom of the groove 58 is θ1, which is the same as the angle θ1 of the tip of the projection 36.
[0030]
Next, as shown in FIG. 5A, a molten synthetic resin (hereinafter simply referred to as “molten resin”) is injected and filled into the inner layer cavity 54. When the injected molten resin is cooled and solidified, the inner layer 18 is formed. FIG. 5B is an enlarged cross-sectional view illustrating the protrusion 36 of the formed inner layer 18.
[0031]
Next, the upper and lower molds 50 for the inner layer and the lower and outer mold 52 for the inner layer are removed. Then, as shown in FIG. 6A, with the inner layer 18 mounted on the left inner mold 46, the heating element 30 is mounted in the groove 28 formed in the inner layer 18, and both ends of the heating element 30 are formed. Are attached to the upper outer mold 60 for the outer layer. Then, as shown in FIG. 6A, with the inner layer 18 mounted on the left inner mold 46, the upper and lower outer molds 60 and 62 for the outer layer are attached to the left and right inner molds 46 and 48. Assemble. In this assembled state, the outer layer cavity 64 is formed, and the outer layer cavity 64 has a shape corresponding to the outer layer 20. That is, the upper outer mold 60 for the outer layer and the lower outer mold 62 for the outer layer have a half-split structure, and when assembled, each inner surface 60a, 62a has a shape corresponding to the outer surface 20a of the outer layer 20. ing. Therefore, the inner surfaces 60a, 62a of the outer layer upper outer mold 60 and the outer layer lower outer mold 62 are spaced apart from the outer surface 18b of the inner layer 18 so as to form the outer layer cavity 64. Therefore, a part of the inner surface of the outer layer 20 is formed by the outer surface 18 b of the inner layer 18. FIG. 6B is an enlarged sectional view showing a portion where the outer layer cavity 64 is formed by the protrusion 36 of the inner layer 18. In addition, on the inner surface 60a of the outer layer upper and outer mold 60, each insertion opening for mounting each pin 32 and each concave portion 66 for forming each convex portion 44 are formed.
[0032]
Next, as shown in FIG. 7A, a molten resin is injected and filled into the outer layer cavity 64. When the injected molten resin is cooled and solidified, the outer layer 20 is formed. However, as shown in FIG. 7B, when the molten resin is injected and filled into the outer layer cavity 64, the tips of the projections 36 formed on the inner layer 18 are melted by the heat of the molten resin. The molten resin in the outer layer cavity 64 and the molten resin at the tip of the projection 36 mix with each other molecules due to the injection pressure, and when the molten resin solidifies in this state, the projection 36 and the outer layer 20 are separated. The inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 are fusion-bonded firmly by fusion. In this way, the fused portion 42 is formed.
[0033]
When the material of the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 is, for example, polyethylene, the tip of the projection 36 is melted by the molten resin injected into the outer layer cavity 64, and the projection 36 and the outer layer 20 are fused and integrated. To do so, the temperature of the molten resin must be 180 ° C. or higher and the pressure must be about 20 Pa (Pascal). On the other hand, the temperature of the molten resin injected into the outer layer cavity 64 is 210 to 250 ° C. and the pressure in the outer layer cavity 64 is about 20 Pa or more. 36 and the outer layer 20 are fused and integrated.
[0034]
Next, the upper outer mold 60 and the lower outer mold 62 for the outer layer, and the left and right inner molds 46 and 48 are moved and opened, and the molded electrofusion port 10 is removed from these molds 60 and the like. As a result, the electrofusion receptacle 10 shown in FIG. 1 is obtained.
[0035]
According to this multilayer injection molding method, as shown in FIG. 7B, the outer layer 20 formed by solidifying the molten resin in the outer layer cavity 64 and the projections 36 formed on the inner layer 18 are fused. As a result, the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 can be firmly fusion-bonded. Therefore, the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 do not separate at the fusion portion 42. In addition, since the protrusions 36 formed on the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 are engaged with each other in a state of being engaged with each other, a sufficient bonding strength between the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 can be obtained. Therefore, by this multilayer injection molding method, the quality of the bonding strength between the outer layer 20 and the inner layer 18 of the electrofusion port (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as the “port”) 10 can be improved. In addition, it is possible to eliminate variations in quality. Further, since the tip of the projection 36 of the inner layer 18 is melted by the heat of the molten resin injected into the outer layer cavity 64, the operation of heating and melting the tip of the projection 36 is unnecessary, and the manufacturing is performed accordingly. Cost can be reduced.
[0036]
As shown in FIG. 3, the protrusion 36 formed on the inner layer 18 is formed in a ring shape over the entire outer surface 18b of the inner layer 18, so that the protrusion 36 and the inner surface of the outer layer 20 are connected to each other. Can be fusion bonded over the entire circumference. As a result, at the boundary 68 between the outer surface 18b of the inner layer 18 and the inner surface of the outer layer 20 (see FIG. 7B) shown in FIG. Water tightness between the inner side and the inner side can be sufficiently ensured.
[0037]
That is, as shown in FIG. 1, the edges 68 a and 68 b of the boundary portion 68 between the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 are formed on the inner surface (for example, a water-contact portion) of the receptacle 10 and the convex portion 44 formed on the outer layer 20. However, since the fused portion 42 of the annular protrusion 36 is formed between the two edge portions 68a and 68b, the fluid such as water in the receiving port 10 is received. It is possible to reliably prevent intrusion from the edge 68a formed in the mouth 10 and leakage from the edge 68b formed on the outer surface of the receptacle 10 to the outside.
[0038]
The edge 68a of the boundary portion 68 between the inner layer 18 and the outer layer 20 is formed so as to be exposed on the inner surface of the receptacle 10. The edge 68a is exposed on the end face 12a of the small diameter portion 12 of the receptacle 10. Therefore, when the pipe end of the straight pipe 14 is butt-joined to the end face 12a of the receiving port 10, the cavity 5c as shown in FIG. High bonding strength can be obtained. When the end of the small-diameter portion 12 of the receiving port 10 shown in FIG. 1 and the end of the straight pipe 14 are butt-joined, the ends may be heated and melted and quickly joined together by pressure bonding. As a result, a straight pipe 16 for receiving the electrofusion receiving port shown in FIG. 2 is obtained.
[0039]
Next, when piping is performed using the electric fusion receiving port single receiving pipe 16, as shown in FIG. 2, the spigot 14 a of one of the single receiving direct pipes 16 is connected to the other single receiving direct pipe 16. And the one-piece straight pipe 16 that has been fusion-bonded may be installed. In the procedure of the electric fusion bonding, first, the spigot 14a of one straight pipe 16 is inserted into the socket 10 of the other straight pipe 16, and a cable is connected to each of the two pins 32. Each cable connects to a controller (not shown). Then, the spigot 14a and the receptacle 10 can be electro-fused and joined by generating heat from the heating element 30 by supplying electricity from the controller.
[0040]
Next, a second embodiment of the multilayer injection molding method according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. The multi-layer injection molding method of the second embodiment is a method of injection-molding an electrofusion receiving port single receiving pipe (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as a "single receiving direct pipe") 72 shown in FIG. . The single receiving straight pipe 72 is formed by fusion bonding an outer layer 80 to an enlarged diameter portion (inner layer) 76 formed at an end of the straight pipe 74. The outer layer 80 and the enlarged diameter portion 76 are formed as an electrofusion receiving port 78 of the single receiving straight tube 72. This one-side receiving straight pipe 72 is formed by joining the spout 74a of the straight pipe 74 to the receiving port 78 of the other one-side receiving straight pipe 72 in the same manner as in the first embodiment, and sequentially joining them. , A conduit can be formed. This pipeline is used, for example, as a pipeline for water distribution or a pipeline for gas. The straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 are made of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, or polybutene. In this embodiment, both are formed of the same kind, for example, polyethylene.
[0041]
As shown in FIG. 8, the straight pipe 74 includes a main body 82 and an enlarged diameter portion 76 formed at a pipe end of the main body 82. The enlarged diameter portion 76 has a short cylindrical shape, and has an inner diameter substantially the same as the outer diameter of the spout 74 a of the main body 82. Further, on the outer peripheral surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76, two annular projections 36 are formed over the entire circumference, similarly to the first embodiment. Each of the protrusions 36 is equivalent to that of the first embodiment. As shown in the enlarged sectional view of FIG. 9, the respective tips are fused and integrated with the inner surface of the outer layer 80. The diameter portion 76 (inner layer) and the outer layer 80 are firmly fusion bonded. The fused portion 42 is formed over the entire outer surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76. However, each projection 36 is formed in a substantially triangular cross-sectional shape in which the angle θ1 of the tip is acute before the tip is fused to the inner surface of the outer layer 80. This angle θ1 is about 30 °.
[0042]
As shown in FIG. 8, the outer layer 80 has a joining portion 84 formed at the distal end side of the receiving port 78, and an enlarged diameter portion 86 formed at the back side thereof. The heating element 30 wound in a coil shape is embedded in the inner peripheral surface of the joint portion 84. The heating element 30 is made of, for example, a stainless wire, a nichrome wire, or the like, as in the first embodiment. Both ends of the heating element 30 are connected to pins 32, 32 formed to protrude from the outer surface of the outer layer 80. Each pin 32 is housed inside each short cylindrical projection 44 formed on the outer surface of the outer layer 80. The inner diameter of the joint 84 is substantially the same as the outer diameter of the spigot 74a of the straight pipe 74, and is formed so that the spigot 74a of the straight pipe 74 can be inserted into the joint 84 to perform electrofusion bonding. ing. The inner diameter of the joint portion 84 is substantially the same as the inner diameter of the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74.
[0043]
As shown in FIG. 8, the enlarged diameter portion 86 covers the enlarged diameter portion 76 in a state where the inner surface thereof is in close contact with the outer surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74. As described above, the inner surface of the enlarged diameter portion 86 of the outer layer 80 is fusion-bonded to the tip of each projection 36 formed on the enlarged diameter portion 76 (inner layer) of the straight pipe 74.
[0044]
Next, a procedure for forming the electrofusion receiving port piece receiving straight pipe 72 shown in FIG. 8 by using the multilayer injection molding method will be described with reference to FIGS. First, the inner mold 88, the upper outer mold 90, and the lower outer mold 92 used in the multilayer injection molding method will be described. As shown in FIG. 10, the inner mold 88, the upper outer mold 90, and the lower outer mold 92 mount a straight pipe 74 formed in advance on the inner mold 88, and the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74. The outer layer cavity 94 is formed in a state where the outer layer cavity 90 is sandwiched between the upper outer mold 90 and the lower outer mold 92. The outer layer cavity 94 has a shape corresponding to the outer layer 80.
[0045]
The inner die 88 has a flange portion 88a and a columnar portion 88b as shown in FIG. The cylindrical portion 88b has a surface corresponding to the inner surface 78a of the receptacle 78. That is, an inclined step portion 96 is formed at the tip of the columnar portion 88b, and a small-diameter guide portion 98 is formed at the tip. The guide portion 98 is formed to have a length to be mounted at a predetermined depth in the main body portion 82 of the straight pipe 74. The outer diameter of the cylindrical portion 88 b (excluding the inclined step portion 96 and the guide portion 98) is almost the same as the inner diameter of the joint portion 84 of the outer layer 80, and the outer diameter of the guide portion 98 is the main body of the straight pipe 74. The dimensions are substantially the same as the inner diameter of the portion 82.
[0046]
The upper outer mold 90 and the lower outer mold 92 have a half-split structure. As shown in FIG. 10, in an assembled state, each of the inner surfaces 90a and 92a has a shape corresponding to the outer surface 80a of the outer layer 80. Has become. At one end in the axial direction of the upper outer die 90 and the lower outer die 92, side wall portions 90b and 92b that are in contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of the flange portion 88a and the columnar portion 88b of the inner die 88 are provided. The end portions are provided with side wall portions 90c and 92c which are in contact with the inclined step portion 100 of the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 and the outer peripheral surface of the main body portion 82. Further, on the inner surface 90a of the upper and outer mold 90, each insertion opening for mounting each pin 32 and each concave portion 66 for forming each convex portion 44 are formed.
[0047]
Next, a procedure for injection-molding the electrofusion receiving port piece receiving straight pipe 72 shown in FIG. 8 will be described. First, as shown in FIG. 10, the coil-shaped heating element 30 is mounted on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 88b of the inner mold 88, and the pins 32 connected to both ends of the heating element 30 are connected to the upper and outer molds. It is attached to each of the insertion openings formed in the 90. Then, the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 is attached to the tip of the inner die 88, and the straight pipe 74 is pushed in until the inclined cut portion 100 of the enlarged diameter portion 76 contacts the inclined cut portion 96 of the inner die 88. The heating element 30 is made of, for example, a stainless steel heating wire spirally wound at a predetermined pitch with an interval between the heating wire and a synthetic resin such as polyethylene (in this embodiment, polyethylene is used. ) To form a cylindrical shape. The straight pipe 74 is formed and prepared in advance by, for example, injection molding. As shown in FIG. 10, two annular projections 36 are formed on the outer surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 over the entire circumference. The angle θ1 of the tip of each projection 36 is about 30 °.
[0048]
Next, the upper outer mold 90 and the lower outer mold 92 are moved and assembled in the state shown in FIG. Thus, the outer layer cavity 94 is formed, and the outer layer cavity 94 has a shape corresponding to the outer layer 80.
[0049]
Next, the molten resin is injected and filled into the outer layer cavity 94. When the injected molten resin is cooled and solidified, the outer layer 80 is formed. However, as shown in FIG. 9, when the outer layer cavity 94 is injected and filled with the molten resin, each protrusion formed on the enlarged diameter portion 76 (inner layer) of the straight pipe 74, as in the first embodiment. The tip of 36 is melted by the heat of the molten resin. The molecules of the molten resin in the outer layer cavity 94 and the molten resin at the tip of the protrusion 36 are mixed by the injection pressure, and when the molten resin is solidified in this state, the protrusion 36 and the outer layer 80 melt. Then, the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 are firmly fusion-bonded. In this way, the fused portion 42 is formed.
[0050]
The material of the straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 is polyethylene, the temperature of the molten resin injected into the outer layer cavity 94 is 210 to 250 ° C., and the pressure in the outer layer cavity 94 is about 20 Pa or more. Therefore, similarly to the first embodiment, the protrusion 36 and the outer layer 80 are fused and integrated.
[0051]
Next, the upper outer mold 90 and the lower outer mold 92 are moved and opened, and the formed electric fusion spout piece receiving straight pipe 72 is removed from the inner mold 88, so that the electrofusion spout shown in FIG. A single receiving straight pipe 72 is obtained.
[0052]
According to this multilayer injection molding method, the outer layer 80 formed by solidifying the molten resin in the outer layer cavity 94 and the protrusion 36 formed on the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 are fused and integrated. Therefore, the straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 can be firmly fusion-bonded. Therefore, the straight tube 74 and the outer layer 80 do not separate at the fusion portion 42. In addition, since the protrusion 36 formed on the straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 are engaged with each other in a state of being engaged with each other, a sufficient bonding strength between the outer layer 80 and the straight pipe 74 can be obtained. Therefore, by this multilayer injection molding method, the quality of the joining strength between the outer layer 80 and the straight pipe 74 constituting the receiving port 78 can be improved, and the variation in quality can be eliminated. Further, since the tip of the projection 36 of the straight pipe 74 is melted by the heat of the molten resin injected into the outer layer cavity 94, the operation of heating and melting the tip of the projection 36 is unnecessary, and only that much is required. Manufacturing costs can be reduced.
[0053]
Since the projection 36 formed on the straight pipe 74 is formed in an annular shape over the entire outer surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76, the projection 36 and the inner surface of the outer layer 80 are formed around the entire circumference of the enlarged diameter portion 76. Can be fusion bonded. Thereby, at the boundary portion 102 between the outer surface of the enlarged diameter portion 76 and the inner surface of the outer layer 80 shown in FIG. 9, the watertightness between the inside and the outside of the receiving port 78 by the fused portion 42 of the annular projection 36 is obtained. Can be secured sufficiently.
[0054]
That is, as shown in FIG. 9, the edges 102 a and 102 b of the boundary portion 102 between the enlarged diameter portion 76 of the straight pipe 74 and the outer layer 80 are formed on the inner surface (for example, the water contact portion) of the receiving port 78 and the receiving port 78. Although it is exposed to the outer surface, since the fused portion 42 of the annular projection 36 is formed between the two edge portions 102a and 102b, fluid such as water in the receiving port 78 can receive the fluid. It is possible to reliably prevent intrusion from the edge portion 102a formed in the inside 78 and leakage to the outside from the edge portion 102b formed on the outer surface of the receptacle 78.
[0055]
Since the enlarged diameter portion 76 to be fusion-bonded to the outer layer 80 is formed integrally with the main body 82 of the straight pipe 74 in advance, the main body of the straight pipe 74 is inserted into the receiving port 78 as in the first embodiment. It is not necessary to butt-join the parts 82. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of the straight receiving pipe 72 can be reduced accordingly.
[0056]
Next, when piping is performed using the electric fusion receiving port piece receiving straight pipe 72, as shown in FIG. 8, the spout 74 a of the one piece receiving straight pipe 72 is connected to the other piece receiving straight pipe 72. And the one-piece straight pipe 72 that has been fusion-bonded may be installed. Since the procedure of this fusion bonding is the same as that of the first embodiment, the description is omitted.
[0057]
However, in the first and second embodiments, the inner layer 18 and the straight pipe 74 are each formed by injection molding, but may be formed by other methods.
[0058]
Further, in the first and second embodiments, the present invention is applied to the straight pipes 16 and 72 for receiving the electric fusion spouts. However, the present invention can be applied to other resin molded products. The point is that the present invention can be applied as long as it has outer layers 20 and 80 and an inner layer (diameter enlarged portion 76) 18 and is formed on the surface of the inner layer by injection molding the outer layer.
[0059]
Further, in the first and second embodiments, two projections 36 are formed as shown in FIG. 5B or the like, but one or three or more projections 36 may be formed instead. .
