Abstract
【解決手段】複合材料から作製された表面シートの間に挟まれた芯材を包含するパネル組立部品を開示する。着色トップコート層を、独立した接着剤を必要とすることなしに、複合材料に直接塗付する。着色トップコート層は、一工程で複合材料と共に硬化することができる熱可塑性バインダー樹脂/顔料の混合物を包含する。トップコートは、バインダー樹脂/顔料の混合物を有し、パネル組立部品に表面仕上げを提供するための永久的な及び/又は一時的な基材を包含することができる。

Description
1.発明の技術分野
本発明は、
芯材が複合材料の層間に挟まれたパネル組立部品であって、着色したトップコートがパネルの外表面に位置して該パネルに着色と表面仕上げを提供するパネル組立部品に関する。より具体的には、本発明は、別に接着剤層を使用することなしに、又は、複数の硬化工程を必要とすることなしに、着色したトップコートが該パネルに結合されるパネル組立部品を対象とする。
ハニカム・サンドイッチ・パネルは永年にわたり航空機、列車及び船舶の内部構造要素として使われてきた。火災の場合、火災、発煙及び有毒物質の放出を低レベルに抑える必要性があるため、補強繊維中に埋込まれたフェノール樹脂マトリックスをパネルの表層材料として使用するのが典型的である。この手法の例は、米国特許第4,880,681号、米国特許第5,714,419号及びWO92/17,331に記載されている。
即ち、本発明の一つの目的は、一回の硬化工程で十分なように、より高温で硬化し得る着色パネル組立部品を提供することである。
本発明のパネル組立部品は、好ましくは160℃までの温度で硬化される。
2.ポリビニルブチラールを攪拌下に加え、Butvar BP90が完全に溶解するまで混合物を攪拌する。
3.TiO2顔料を高速せん断下に加えて、TiO2顔料が分散し、粒径が5μm未満になるまで混合する。粒径の低減は、又、必要により三本ロールによって混練することで達成することもできる。粒径を求めるために、ヘグマンゲージ(Hegman gauge)又は同様の計器が使用される。
4.防炎剤を高速せん断下に加える。
5.ヒュームドシリカを高速攪拌下に加え、混合物を、ヒュームドシリカが分散するまで混合する。所望により、この段階で発煙抑制剤、又は粉砕ガラス繊維にような追加の添加剤を加えることができる。
6.次いで、適量のMEKを加え、均一になるまで混合物を攪拌する。
Claims (18)
- 第一及び第二の表面を有する芯材であって、該第一及び第二の表面が該芯材の対向する側面に位置して該芯材の厚みを規定するもの;
該芯材の該第一又は第二の表面の少なくとも一つの上に配置された少なくとも一つの硬化したプリプレグであって、該硬化したプリプレグが外表面及び内表面を有し、該内表面が該芯材の該第一又は第二の表面に隣接し、該プリプレグが硬化した熱硬化性樹脂を含むもの;及び
該硬化したプリプレグの外表面に接着剤なしに直接的に接合した硬化した着色層であって、該硬化した着色層が硬化した着色バインダー樹脂を含み、該硬化した着色バインダー樹脂が硬化した熱可塑性樹脂及び顔料を含むもの;
を含む、パネル組立部品。 - 該着色バインダー樹脂がその上に配置される基材であって、該基材が該プリプレグの硬化温度より高い融点を有するものを更に含む、請求項1記載のパネル組立部品。
- 該硬化した着色バインダー中に存在する該硬化した熱可塑性樹脂がポリビニルブチラールである、請求項1又は2に記載のパネル組立部品。
- 該硬化したプリプレグ中に存在する該硬化した熱硬化性樹脂が、レゾール樹脂、ノボラック樹脂及び難燃性エポキシ樹脂からなる群より選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のパネル組立部品。
- 該基材が織物基材及び/又は熱可塑性フィルム基材を含む、請求項2〜4のいずれか一項に記載のパネル組立部品。
- 該熱可塑性フィルム基材がポリエチレンテレフタレートを含むフィルムである、請求項5記載のパネル組立部品。
- パネル組立部品を作製するための方法であって:
第一及び第二の表面を有する芯材であって、該第一及び第二の表面が該芯材の対向する側面に位置して該芯材の厚みを規定するものを用意する工程;
該芯材の該第一又は第二の表面の少なくとも一つの上に、少なくとも一つの未硬化のプリプレグであって、該未硬化のプリプレグが外表面及び内表面を有し、該内表面が該芯材の第一又は第二の表面に隣接して位置され、かつ該未硬化のプリプレグが硬化温度を有する熱硬化性樹脂を含むものを配置する工程;
該未硬化のプリプレグの外表面に、未硬化の着色層であって、該未硬化の着色層が未硬化の着色バインダー樹脂を含み、該未硬化の着色バインダー樹脂が未硬化の熱可塑性樹脂及び顔料を含み、該熱可塑性樹脂が該プリプレグ中に存在する該未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂の硬化温度に等しいかそれより低い硬化温度を有するものを接着剤なしに直接的に塗布する工程;及び
該未硬化の着色層及び該未硬化のプリプレグを、一回の硬化プロセスにおいて共硬化する工程;
を含む、上記方法。 - 該未硬化の着色バインダー樹脂がその上に配置される基材であって、該基材が該プリプレグの硬化温度より高い融点を有するものを用意する工程を更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 該未硬化の着色バインダー中に存在する該未硬化の熱可塑性樹脂がポリビニルブチラールである、請求項7又は8に記載の方法。
- 該未硬化のプリプレグ中に存在する該未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂が、レゾール樹脂、ノボラック樹脂及び難燃性エポキシ樹脂からなる群より選択される、請求項7〜9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該基材が織物基材及び/又は熱可塑性フィルム基材を含む、請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 該基材がポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む熱可塑性フィルム基材を含む、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 第一及び第二の表面を有する芯材であって、該第一及び第二の表面が該芯材の対向する側に位置して該芯材の厚みを規定するもの;
該芯材の該第一又は第二の表面の少なくとも一つの上に配置された少なくとも一つの未硬化のプリプレグであって、該未硬化のプリプレグが外表面及び内表面を有し、該内表面が該芯材の第一又は第二の表面に隣接し、該未硬化のプリプレグが硬化温度を有する未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂を含むもの;及び
該未硬化のプリプレグの外表面に接着剤なしに直接的に結合した未硬化の着色層であって、該未硬化の着色層が未硬化の着色バインダー樹脂を含み、該未硬化の着色バインダー樹脂が未硬化の熱可塑性樹脂及び顔料を含み、該熱可塑性樹脂が該プリプレグ中に存在する該未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂の硬化温度に等しいかそれより低い硬化温度を有するもの;
を含む、未硬化のパネル組立部品。 - 該着色バインダー樹脂がその上に配置される基材であって、該基材が該プリプレグの硬化温度より高い融点を有するものを更に含む、請求項13記載の未硬化のパネル組立部品。
- 該未硬化の着色バインダー中に存在する該未硬化の熱可塑性樹脂がポリビニルブチラールである、請求項13又は14記載の未硬化のパネル組立部品。
- 該未硬化のプリプレグ中に存在する該未硬化の熱硬化性樹脂が、レゾール樹脂、ノボラック樹脂及び難燃性エポキシ樹脂からなる群より選択される、請求項13〜15のいずれか一項に記載の未硬化のパネル組立部品。
- 該基材が織物基材及び/又は熱可塑性フィルム基材を含む、請求項14〜16のいずれか一項に記載の未硬化のパネル組立部品。
- 該熱可塑性フィルム基材がポリエチレンテレフタレートを含むフィルムである、請求項17に記載の未硬化のパネル組立部品。
