Abstract
【解決手段】異常判定に関する判定基準情報を記憶する記憶部3bを有するプローブ3と、異常判定に関する判定基準情報を記憶する記憶部2bと超音波振動子2aとを有するハンドピース2と、記憶部2b,3bから判定基準情報を読み取る情報読取処理の結果をもとに超音波手術システム10の異常有無を判定し、さらに、読み取った判定基準情報をもとに超音波手術システム10の異常有無を判定し、超音波手術システム10に異常が有る場合に超音波振動子2aの駆動を停止する制御装置本体1とを備える。

Description
図1は、この発明の実施の形態1である超音波手術システムの概略構成を例示する模式図である。図1において、超音波手術システム10は、制御装置本体1と、ハンドピース2と、プローブ3と、シース4と、フットスイッチ5とを有する。制御装置本体1には、電源スイッチ1a、コネクタ1b、テストスイッチ1c、表示部1d、アップスイッチ1e、およびダウンスイッチ1fが設けられる。ハンドピース2には超音波振動子(図示せず)が内蔵され、プローブ3は、この超音波振動子に螺子締結される。シース4は、その内部にプローブ3を挿入するとともにハンドピース2に着脱自在に接続される。この場合、シース4は、被処置体に医療処置を行うプローブ3先端をシース4先端から露出させるように、プローブ3を覆う。フットスイッチ5は、ペダル5a,5bが設けられ、ケーブル6を介して制御装置本体1に電気的に接続される。また、ハンドピース2は、一端にプラグ8が設けられたケーブル7を有し、ケーブル7の他端は、ハンドピース2に内蔵された超音波振動子と電気的に接続される。ハンドピース2は、プラグ8を制御装置本体1のコネクタ1bに接続した場合に、制御装置本体1と電気的に接続される。
超音波振動子2aは、締結部2cによってプローブ3と螺子締結される。プローブ3には、締結部2c近傍に開口部3aが設けられ、開口部3a内部には記憶部3bが配置される。超音波振動子2aおよび記憶部2bは、ケーブル7と電気的に接続され、記憶部3bは、プローブ3が超音波振動子2aに螺子締結された場合、ハンドピース2に設けられた配線を介してケーブル7と電気的に接続される。したがって、プラグ8が制御装置本体1のコネクタ1bに接続された場合、超音波振動子2aおよび記憶部2bは、ケーブル7を介して制御装置本体1と電気的に接続され、記憶部3bは、ハンドピース2およびケーブル7を介して制御装置本体1と電気的に接続される。超音波振動子2aは、PZT等の圧電セラミックを用いて実現され、制御装置本体1と電気的に接続された場合、上述したように、制御装置本体1に駆動制御される。この制御装置本体1による駆動制御によって、超音波振動子2aは、締結部2cを介してプローブ3に所望の超音波振動を出力できる。
つぎに、この発明の実施の形態2について説明する。上述した実施の形態1では、プローブの記憶部に記憶された判定基準情報またはハンドピースに記憶された判定基準情報を用いて、プローブまたはハンドピースの劣化または破損等に起因する異常を検知していたが、この実施の形態2では、ジョーとプローブとを接触させた場合の電気的導通を検知する短絡検知部を設けて、ジョーの劣化に起因する異常を検知するようにしている。

Claims (11)
- 超音波振動子をその共振点にて超音波出力するように駆動制御し、前記超音波振動子から適宜出力される超音波振動を被処置体に伝達し、該被処置体に対する医療処置を行う超音波手術システムにおいて、
当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かの判定基準である第1判定基準情報を記憶する第1記憶手段を有し、前記超音波振動子に接続され、該超音波振動子から出力された超音波振動を前記被処置体に伝達するプローブと、
当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かの判定基準である第2判定基準情報を記憶する第2記憶手段と前記超音波振動子とを有するハンドピースと、
前記第1の記憶手段から前記第1判定基準情報を読み取るとともに前記第2記憶手段から前記第2判定基準情報を読み取る情報読取処理を行い、該情報読取処理の結果をもとに当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定し、さらに、前記第1判定基準情報と前記第2判定基準情報とをもとに当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定し、当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したと判定した場合に前記超音波振動子の駆動を停止する制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする超音波手術システム。 - 前記制御手段は、当該超音波手術システムに発生した異常の履歴情報を前記第1判定基準情報として前記第1記憶手段に記憶させ、または、前記履歴情報を前記第2判定基準情報として前記第2記憶手段に記憶させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の超音波手術システム。
- 前記制御手段によって前記超音波振動子が駆動制御される駆動モードと、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに起因する異常の有無を確認するテストモードとを切り換える切換手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記テストモードの場合、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに起因する異常の有無を確認し、前記プローブに起因する異常および前記ハンドピースに起因する異常が無いことを確認した場合に、前記第1の記憶手段および前記第2の記憶手段の少なくとも一方に記憶された前記履歴情報を消去するとともに、駆動停止した前記超音波振動子の再駆動を許可することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の超音波手術システム。 - 前記超音波振動子が前記プローブに超音波振動を出力した出力時間を計時する計時手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記計時手段から受信した前記出力時間に対応する出力時間情報をもとに前記プローブの累積出力時間を演算し、該累積出力時間に対応する第1累積時間情報を前記第1判定基準情報として前記第1記憶手段に記憶させ、または、前記出力時間情報をもとに前記ハンドピースの累積出力時間を演算し、該累積出力時間に対応する第2累積時間情報を前記第2判定基準情報として前記第2記憶手段に記憶させることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の超音波手術システム。 - 前記被処置体を前記プローブに押圧し、該被処置体に医療処置を行う押圧手段と、
前記押圧手段と前記プローブとが接触した場合に、前記第1判定基準情報または前記第2判定基準情報をもとに前記押圧手段と前記プローブとの電気的導通を検知する導通検知手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記押圧手段と前記プローブとの電気的導通を検知したこと示す検知情報を前記導通検知手段から受信した場合に、当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したと判定し、前記超音波振動子の駆動を停止することを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の超音波手術システム。 - 超音波振動子をその共振点にて超音波出力するように駆動制御し、前記超音波振動子から適宜出力される超音波振動を被処置体に伝達し、該被処置体に対する医療処置を行う超音波手術システムに発生する異常を検知する異常検知方法おいて、
前記超音波振動子に接続された場合に該超音波振動子から出力された超音波振動を前記被処置体に伝達するプローブが有する第1記憶手段に記憶された第1判定基準情報と、前記超音波振動子を備えたハンドピースが有する第2記憶手段に記憶された第2判定基準情報とをもとに、前記超音波振動子が駆動する前に当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定する駆動前異常検知ステップと、
前記駆動前異常検知ステップによって異常が検知されなかった場合に、前記共振点が前記第1判定基準情報または前記第2判定基準情報によって設定される周波数制限範囲にて検出されたか否かを判定し、前記共振点が前記周波数制限範囲にて検出されなかった場合に当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したことを検知する駆動準備時異常検知ステップと、
前記駆動準備異常検知ステップによって異常が検知されなかった場合に、前記第1判定基準情報または前記第2判定基準情報と前記超音波振動子の駆動中に検出される駆動情報とをもとに当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定する駆動時異常検知ステップと、
前記駆動前異常検知ステップ、前記駆動準備時異常検知ステップ、または前記駆動時異常検知ステップによって、当該超音波手術システムに発生した異常が検知された場合に、前記超音波振動子の駆動を停止させる駆動禁止ステップと、
を含んだことを特徴とする異常検知方法。 - 前記駆動前異常検知ステップ、前記駆動準備時異常検知ステップ、または前記駆動時異常検知ステップによって、当該超音波手術システムに発生した異常が検知された場合に、前記第1判定基準情報として前記異常の履歴情報を前記第1記憶手段に記憶させ、または、前記第2判定基準情報として前記異常の履歴情報を前記第2記憶手段に記憶させる異常履歴情報記憶ステップを含んだことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の異常検知方法。
- 前記駆動禁止ステップによって前記超音波振動子の駆動が停止されるとともに、前記異常履歴情報記憶ステップによって前記第1記憶手段または前記第2記憶手段に前記異常の履歴情報が記憶された後に、前記制御手段によって前記超音波振動子が駆動制御される駆動モードから、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに対する異常の有無を確認するテストモードに切り換える第1モード切換ステップと、
前記テストモードの場合に、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに対する異常の有無を確認する異常確認ステップと、
前記異常確認ステップによって前記プローブおよび前記ハンドピースに異常が無いことが確認された場合に、前記第1の記憶手段および前記第2の記憶手段の少なくとも一方に記憶された前記異常の履歴情報を消去するとともに、前記駆動禁止ステップによって駆動停止された前記超音波振動子の再駆動を許可する駆動禁止解除ステップと、
前記テストモードから前記駆動モードに切り換える第2モード切換ステップと、
を含んだことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の異常検知方法。 - 超音波振動子をその共振点にて超音波出力するように駆動制御し、前記超音波振動子から適宜出力される超音波振動を被処置体に伝達し、該被処置体に対する医療処置を行う超音波手術システムに発生する異常を検知する異常検知プログラムおいて、
前記超音波振動子に接続された場合に該超音波振動子から出力された超音波振動を前記被処置体に伝達するプローブが有する第1記憶手段に記憶された第1判定基準情報と、前記超音波振動子を備えたハンドピースが有する第2記憶手段に記憶された第2判定基準情報とをもとに、前記超音波振動子が駆動する前に当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定する駆動前異常検知手順と、
前記駆動前異常検知手順によって異常が検知されなかった場合に、前記共振点が前記第1判定基準情報または前記第2判定基準情報によって設定される周波数制限範囲にて検出されたか否かを判定し、前記共振点が前記周波数制限範囲にて検出されなかった場合に当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したことを検知する駆動準備時異常検知手順と、
前記駆動準備異常検知手順によって異常が検知されなかった場合に、前記第1判定基準情報または前記第2判定基準情報と前記超音波振動子の駆動中に検出される駆動情報とをもとに当該超音波手術システムに異常が発生したか否かを判定する駆動時異常検知手順と、
前記駆動前異常検知手順、前記駆動準備時異常検知手順、または前記駆動時異常検知手順によって、当該超音波手術システムに発生した異常が検知された場合に、前記超音波振動子の駆動を停止させる駆動禁止手順と、
をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする異常検知プログラム。 - 前記駆動前異常検知手順、前記駆動準備時異常検知手順、または前記駆動時異常検知手順によって、当該超音波手術システムに発生した異常が検知された場合に、前記第1判定基準情報として前記異常の履歴情報を前記第1記憶手段に記憶させ、または、前記第2判定基準情報として前記異常の履歴情報を前記第2記憶手段に記憶させる異常履歴情報記憶手順をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の異常検知プログラム。
- 前記駆動禁止手順によって前記超音波振動子の駆動が停止されるとともに、前記異常履歴情報記憶手順によって前記第1記憶手段または前記第2記憶手段に前記異常の履歴情報が記憶された後に、前記制御手段によって前記超音波振動子が駆動制御される駆動モードから、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに対する異常の有無を確認するテストモードに切り換える第1モード切換手順と、
前記テストモードの場合に、前記プローブまたは前記ハンドピースに対する異常の有無を確認する異常確認手順と、
前記異常確認手順によって前記プローブおよび前記ハンドピースに異常が無いことが確認された場合に、前記第1の記憶手段および前記第2の記憶手段の少なくとも一方に記憶された前記異常の履歴情報を消去するとともに、前記駆動禁止手順によって駆動停止された前記超音波振動子の再駆動を許可する駆動禁止解除手順と、
前記テストモードから前記駆動モードに切り換える第2モード切換手順と、
をコンピュータに実行させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の異常検知プログラム。
